FLAVORS EXPRESS SDSU — Restaurant in San Diego

This place was delicious! Don't let the negative reviews fool you. Yes, its not situated like a 5 star restaurant, but what you get in return is some quality, good tasting, and well portioned food. My daughter's shared a small platter and the wife and I a medium. It was more than enough food to share. Service was also friendly which was a plus. The lady serving was a little quiet (which some people might mistaken as rude behavior), but you can tell she was friendly and wanted to make sure we had a pleasant experience.

Excellent food! I don’t know anything about East Africa, but I had the saffron rice and eggplant and kidney beans with collard greens and LOVED the flavors. Cumin in there and a lot of other flavors. The guy who served it up was from Kenya! Wish a place like this existed...

Absolutely knocked it out of the park. Best service I’ve had from a restaurant in a long time, I don’t normally write reviews but just had to let everyone know to try this place out! Was given free samples of both the chicken and juices without even having to ask....
