Dragon Sushi — Restaurant in San Diego

Seriously? Two pieces of Nigiri for $7?! (check the menu and see for yourself) These 5 star reviews can only come from the owners family.

In a city inundated with quality sushi, there is no excuse for these insane prices and piss poor rolls.

I can get a $20 platter from any grocery store in convoy that would blow this place out of the water.

Look at this disgrace for $20 people. These rolls aren't even sushi rice, it looks like the chef couldn't be bothered to get calrose and so they cut corners with basmati rice (undercooked as you can see).

These rolls were falling apart before I picked them up, and we can't blame that on transit, they looked like this from the beginning.

I have had sushi from Vons that looked better, literally.

For $20, the only reason I didn't walk right back and ask for a refund is because I was lazy and hungry. But will never come back. No excuse for this.

I know resteraunts need to make money too, but these prices and quality are just a slap in the customers face. And then seeing the owner pull up in his brand new monster truck, we know it's not the higher ups that are struggling...

Wow! Came here on a whim, really positive experience. Garlic edamame was so fresh and flavorful, the cooked it on the spot and you could smell it! So delicious. I had the mango dragon cucumber wrapped- the sweet mango sauce was delicious, the whole roll was delicious My husband had the spicy amigo roll and he loved it. He say the ingredients were tremendous and fresh. He truly enjoyed it. My daughter had the shrimp crunch, she say it was flavorful and eel sauce and the crunch tied it together. Overall delicious. Excellent sushi. Excellent service. We had the spicy baked green mussells appetizer, which was a delicious surprise. The Angry Roll was fresh and also delicious. Miso soup and spicy edamame made for a perfect shared dinner at a very reasonable price. The setting was spare and nondescript, but it was clean and efficient. (I sorta felt like I was in a set from Blade Runner. All that was missing was a torrential downpour.) No sake or beer yet but we weren't bothered by that. Give them time to get their license....
