This pizza was actually good but the man working behind the counter with the man bun and beard was extremely rude to my husband who is black which at first I excused as him just having a bad day but as we sat in the restaurant I noticed that he acted extremely different to all the other customers. First, he didn’t say welcome in but gave a warm welcome to all the other customers. I even noticed another group of black men walk in that he ignored as well. Also when my husband approached the counter the man stood away from the counter and stared my husband down until my husband was uncomfortable and asked if he could order. He was very short with my husband and had a bit of an attitude when my husband didn’t know the name of a pizza because there was no placard next to it. Also when our order was ready the man threw it down on the counter and just said “slices for here” but with all of the white customers he cheerfully called out their names and walked the pizza to their table for them. Additionally I watched him grab his cellphone and text and then handle the pizza without washing his hands multiple times. I was so excited to try this spot but I definitely won’t be back due to the customer service and...

First off the service was not so great. The guy at the front with the long hair looks like he doesn’t even want to be there. Was our first time there..was not welcomed in. Was not asked if I have any questions. Tried 4 different slices of Pizza it was ok. I give it a 5/10. I saw someone at a different table get The garlic Knott roll pizza looked super good & fresh. sad I didn’t order that (if the guy at the front would’ve suggested it & said it’s popular I would’ve ordered it) atmosphere was pretty cool the art on the walls & the gnarly girl sign very cute. There where a few flies flying around I kept having to smack them away from my pizza & fruit flies too..also had a salad..def have to get a better swing door that closes to avoid flies from coming in. I am a HUGE pizza fan & The salad was honestly...

Mel, the owner, is magnamimous and customer service friendly and accommodating. She comped me a large specialty pizza when their payment system didn’t accept a promo code at the register, and instead inadvertently gift credited me for the pie. So I want to give her public props for her generosity. Thanks, Mel! It’s my second time there in 3 days. I plan to be back many more times. Really dig how they serve by the slice AND have a full separate menu board of vegetarian items. I think they’re the only pizza joint with this setup. Plus non-alcoholic beers too along with the regular tap and bottled stuff. Your pizza place is nicely located and has a loaded menu with creative varieties as options for the customer. And the Rabbit Food Pizza was satisfying too. Will try the knotted crust...

Best pizza we NY style pizza we have had in San Diego, and for someone that lived in New Haven, I have looked to find a good spot. They have a lot of vegetarian options and gluten free cauliflower crust. We tried the buffalo cauliflower wings but I would Not repeat that order - just hot with little taste. Giving it a three because we ordered three slides, and after 30 min wait, we ended up not even getting the slides we asked for bc they missed our order. The whole place is packed busy, noisy, and just didn’t have the atmosphere we had hoped. Will def come back for the food but will be taking it to go. They could really do with some lean practices which should help them streamline.

Heard this spot had great pizza so me an the Family decided to try them out. First off, they had so many different types of pizzas to choose from that looked and sounded delicious, so thanks to their lunch special (2 slices and a drink) which was reasonable and affordable, we were able to try the different styles of pizza. I had the "Hot Honey Pepperoni" and the "Fred Flintstone"... needless to say THE WHOLE FAMILY loved their individual slices. Then came the main even, The Chicken Parm with Garlic Knot Crust and it was simply AMAZING!! The wings were big and tasty as well. Definitely recommend giving this place a try if in the San Diego area.
