First of all I should note I'm a life time customer of jack in the box and used to be a frequent one up until about 6 months ago, when I noticed quality across the board going down. But THIS location is so consistently awful that I think it's deliberate. I've included two reviews from different visits below, and I've been there about 9 or 10 times over the past year. I am not a Karen, I was just hungry.
Edit: I went back, tried for some non breakfast food. I'm almost certain what I ordered was either deliberately sabotaged or totally mishandled. You should understand that tampering with food is a big deal. Got obviously soggy buns, made me question what exactly happened there, made me wonder if they were dumped in the mop bucket and then left to sort of dry on a counter because they tasted like dirty water and were literally wet. The chicken patty was like, tough, not even warm, and the size of a chicken nugget. I am not that picky, but the thing was just so nasty I didn't want to finish it after the first bite because I felt like it wasn't even real food. Too weird, rubbery, like they pulled it out of the freezer and let it get warm on the counter. Jack in the box replied to this review below, but they clearly don't care about fixing the problem. Seriously disgraceful behavior. You have a legacy to protect, jack in the box food used to be respected, even considered good, now it's just the cheapest gruel you can find. Fix it or your lives are lived in vain, why bother. I have no desire to open a dialogue, go order some food here yourself and tell me it's acceptable because every time I go here it's so disgusting.
~about a month prior to edit: Eggshell in the breakfast jack, dry overcooked bacon, stale buns. Hash brown was barely cooked. This is the regular experience here. I think there are 3 year olds making the food in the back, who knows? Totally...
Read moreI casually walked into the store one day, wanting to order some stuff. I was amazed at how clean the store was, not a spot in sight. I slowly made my way to the counter, my widened eyes still in shock. My feet finally stopped, now myself standing before the counter. Before I can get my order out, I was shocked at just how friendly the cashier was. I believe his name was Micheal... and my God, was his service great. He suggested me great food, went into deep detail, just in the back of my mind I could see what he was describing. I licked my lips in happiness, before getting out my order. "Big cheeseburger please." I say in a calm voice, but deep inside his service made me want to tremble, with sweat pouring down my arms. As we exchanged our words, I could just feel my heartbeat increase. We finally parted ways, I took a few steps back and waited for my order to finish. It was in just one minute, twenty seconds, twelve seconds, I got my food. Micheal once again spoke to me, handing out my order. I grasped the bag, biting my bottom lip as I ran off. Let me tell you about Micheal, what my friend told me before... Don't let him go, don't ever let him go. Send orders out......
Read moreThis was mine and my friends mutually worst experience at ANY fast food restaurant. Being from San Diego, I grew up on Jack. The crew seemed to care less about us and more focused on the drive through customers. The cashier was new, which I didn't mind, so she asked for help. The women seemed very annoyed by the fact that she needed help entering our orders. Being as my friend and I are both Caucasian she must have assumed we didn't understand conversation Spanish; she muttered to herself "oh my god" and rolling her eyes at her employee. Once we received our food, it was cold and it not up to the high quality standards that I expect. There seemed to be a number of employees in the store that could've been doing more than laughing about a story being told by another woman. The condition of the restaurant was abhorrent to say the least. Tables were dirty the from cold display case was full of coffee creamer, ranch and other sauces they woupd normally keep behind the counter. The sets they hand out for salads were also...
