Verde Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in San Diego

Ate here the other night and was blown away by the care everyone took to keep myself, the other guests and it’s staff safe. Masks worn, distances maintained, regulations explained clearly and of COURSE the food was - as it’s been every time I come in - incredible. I dream about this skirt steak - it’s amazing. My friend had the pumpkin margarita and loved it (I’m old fashioned and stuck with the OG and it was perfect - thanks, bar staff!!). Shrimp tacos were INSANELY good, and the staff was - as always - awesome. Manager was so kind, checked in on us to make sure everything was delicious, and we assured him it was! Love seeing local businesses navigate through this ridiculous time with not only grace and poise, but in a way that keeps them engaged with those of us who feel safe going out, but with precautions. I’ll be back again for that...

Ordered the Chicken Mole with Garlic mash. The Mole sauce had no flavor.

I don't understand how a mole sauce would be so watered down and have no flavor. I was looking forward to the spices, heat, and mas sabor.

Food is about as good as any bar and grill that has Mexican food in it and they offer room service witch is convenient at a hotel these days glad they aren't using covid as a excuse to not do room service. Chicken wings where good I had some minor adjustments to my order they allowed substitutes and have a full bar if you want alcoholic beverages delivered...
