Jack in the Box — Restaurant in San Diego

Me and my girlfriend come to jack in the box every time the padres hit a home run. Our order is always the same we get a large drink, a large twisted soda, and two jumbo jacks with cheese. On our last three visits however our twisted soda was made incorrectly which is my girlfriend’s favorite drink. The first time we let it go and didn’t say anything. The second time we asked them to remake the drink and they did (and they even comped the drink which was a nice gesture) however on our most recent visit we met Luciana who when we politely explained the beverage was made wrong she told us she would not remake the drink. I explained to her that we come every time the padres hit a home run and this makes us regular customers during the baseball season and the drink being made correctly is important to my girlfriend. Luciana responded by screaming at me in Spanish grabbing the drink and pouring milkshake all over the top of the beverage. I could see that she was not in her right mind and asked for my money back which she did return to us. I am posting this review because me and my girlfriend have a little tradition of coming here after padres home runs and it just killed the vibe of our night. We would like to continue our tradition but being treated like that is unacceptable especially since I was very polite and cordial. Never going to this location again. I work and have worked in fast food. I enunciate my words to not be misunderstood and am patient especially because of the masks we now have to wear. If my food isn't cold, or dried out from the heat lamp, its the wrong order. Multiple times upgraded to curly fries never got them. Tried to call, go in person to either get it switched out or a refund and the manager or team members make me feel like I'm wasting their time. The other night I was in a hurry and the drive thru was busy so I went inside and tried to order a kids chicken strip combo. I dont need the full combo, and couldn't afford it. I was charged for the wrong order and given the wrong food. I received nuggets instead of strips and thats happened multiple times. Next time I'll spend the gas to go up to Claremont mesa blvd location. Hate this...

Giving this place 2 stars simply because they’re no longer on the app which is so weird and annoying it’s been like this for maybe two or three months now. I can’t understand why’d they’d do that, they use to get a lot of customers and app orders now I see their drive thru is practically empty all the time, I’m assuming they figured they’re a high volume store so customers could pay at the window (they did the same to the one on garnet) but we want to be able to use their app deals & offers and not pay $2 for tacos when they’re 1.30 or sometimes 99¢ on the app. They have great workers there and the food is oddly better than other Jack in the Box’s but it’s definitely annoying they removed some of these locations off the app, idk how that’s even beneficial for the company.
