We bought a beautiful 7ft Noble fir a few days after Thanksgiving. I have had a really christmas tree all of my life, so as soon as we left the lot, we went home and put it in the stand with water. Checking the next day to fill more as they always suck up the most water the first few days. Within 6-7 days, the tree stopped taking water. I got worried but gave it a few days. By the 10th day, the limbs started to drop which is normal, but the needles started to curl. That's when I started to contact Valley View. I tried using their online contact, email, and FB. I haven't heard from them yet after a few days. So I took everything off the tree and put it in the van and drove to the Clairmont lot.
A staff member asked for the owner(Christy) of the lot, and she came quickly. I explained my situation, and without hesitation, she offered an even exchange. I wasn't sure if I did something wrong as I have always had a Fraser fir, but Christy was super nice and told me it could have just had something happen to the tree. I was so incredibly grateful as what is christmas without a christmas tree with all of your kids' ornaments.
Necco, a very nice young man, helped pack up our new tree and put it in our van. All with a huge smile and great attitude. His mother, who worked at the lot, was also so very friendly, as well as the staff who helped us buy our first tree. We will be using Valley View...
Read moreMy wife and I came on Thanksgiving Eve because we happen to live close by. We really lucked out! All the trees were in fresh water, and every single tree in the tent was beautiful.
We decided on a 6-7’ Noble for $99. The gentleman helping us out was accommodating and knowledgeable. He walked us through the different options but gave us space when we wanted to browse. When we finally decided, he offered to deliver the next day, Thanksgiving, or try to fit it in our Prius. Fortunately, the latter worked out. I should also mention that he was great with our Pomeranians, who came along with us. We got to meet one of his Frenchies, Ella (if I remember correctly), that his sweet wife brought out.
Two other gentlemen helped net and safely load the tree into our car. A couple in front of us was purchasing four trees, so there was a little bit of a wait, but they immediately apologized for it (it wasn’t a problem, but it was nice that they acknowledged it). We decided to purchase the stand, too, and preservation liquid. Installation was simple. The tree is perfect, a joyful sight in the middle...
Read moreWe wanted a small 4-5 foot tree and found a perfect one here! We were helped by Omar who was really friendly and great. The tree, stand, and removal kit+tree food cost us $140 with credit card fees. One minor issue is the tree stand. I would suggest having your own tree stand as the ones they sell here are not the best -- ours started leaking, but I took it back and got a refund...
