I like the Salon. Clean, and professional Nail techs who do a great job. It's only my second time in. Last time I came in, Hannah was doing my nails. I got a fill then and I got a fill this time too. Last time I walked out paying $76 dollars. Their menu is confusing and deceptive, even Hannah agreed and pointed it out to Nan that she should probably revise her price menu. My first visit was a medium length acrylic set fill with the curved white tip in almond shape. I assumed my fill would cost me $47 plus tip. I was wrong. (-also pre pandemic time I never paid more than $26-30 for a fill at my LA salon, so that's a lot -but like I said at least the nail technician do a better job so I guess you also pay for nicer nails) still... I think they rip you off here. Ok I accepted the $76 dollars I paid after tip last time because my nails were longer and I got that curved "design" white tip, and almond shape, for which it all states on the menu, they charge extra for. This time around I came in really hoping I would walk out clean slate with $47 + tip, for the simple nails I selected. I need short nails now moving forward because I'm about to have a baby. I got a fill again... short and square this time with a normal white tip. On the menu it says $47 for fill pink and white + gel. Yes there are also weird add-ons on the menu and showing "French tip" as + $6 but hey... pink and white... it's French tip (also not "ombré" because that's listed separately in their menu too showing also for $47 as a fill) so what is pink and white then?!! Is it a white powder tip (like the old days... how nails were made, because sure you wanna do more tedious work shaping the pink powder first and then the white powder.. to archive the same results) be my guest, but I'm sure that's not what they mean either. Nan also tried to make different excuses as to why I had to pay the extra $6 dollars. Oh it's because you got "Gel"... well it says "with Gel" I also didn't get a special shape this time or some extravagant curved design or extra length like last time. She "honored" the $47 for me this time. But truthfully, that's what I should have paid according to their menu, and I wouldn't come here to pay more had I known this off the bat. I hate having to argue my way through, and I'm not being cheap, just realistic. I will not be back unfortunately. No matter what you think, they always find a reason to up charge you for no reason. You won't walk out paying what you intend to pay. They are already expensive as it is.

Out of every nail salon I've ever been to, this was the WORST quality. In addition it was the MOST I've ever paid for a full set. It was 70$ for the basic, shape and wasn't even gel. There was no polish at all. It was just colored powder. For that price it was supposed to be 40$. with that being said I also got a design on each hand. On their "menu" 2 designs=5$. So it should've just been an extra 5 dollars. 10 dollars at MOST. But instead I was charged an extra 30$ for a design that was lop-sided, messy and just not good at all. I will say though that the man that did them tried his best. But I had a feeling either he was new at this or not a professional because he didn't want to do it when I asked him and tried to get me to settle for some butterfly stickers. Really?? Stickers??? Not only that, the acrylic was piled on THICK, and it was the most painful manicure I've ever gotten. Overall, it was a horrible experience and I ended up crying in my car for 20 minutes afterword. See the attached picture for what I wanted and a picture of the design that was apparently worth 30$!! I think not:( and the thickness of the nail. No Polish, no special shape or length. I was taken advantage of and completely do not recommend, especially for a college student right on money.

I recently had a very good pedicure from H at Finesse Nails. She is a good technician and I've returned now a few times for both pedicures and gel manicures. Unfortunately, I'm writing more about business practices and customer management here. I called and made an appointment to come in, asking for 6:00 after my work. I did inquire if that was too late for H and she asked if I could come in earlier. I said I would do my best to be there by 5:30 if possible. (This meant I would leave work early). So I did, and arrived at the salon at 5:35. I had to wait for H, and was serviced by another technician to remove my existing gels. Fine in theory, but this meant I wasn't actually being serviced by H until 5:45-5:50! Once H began work on me it was going well, until towards the end when it was clear that the customer she had been working on when I arrived was waiting for H to do 'one more thing' to her nails. And, I hear that apparently the customer had been a 'last minute' or walk in, as she apologized to H for coming in like that. (Does this mean she was given part of my appointment time?) I was having H finish the French part of my manicure and had asked for her to make the French part larger, or a thicker smile. She was rushing so she could return to attend to the earlier customer, and I felt nervous and rushed myself. The end result I did not receive what I wanted, but got an additional coat of French, rather than a larger, thicker smile. I specifically said I wanted to have her cover more of the nail with the French portion. I did not need more thickness in polish! H then had another technician finish me up with last filing, massage, etc. so she could attend to the waiting customer. My feeling is that when a person calls and makes an appointment and comes in (& leaving work early to boot!), she should be attended to and given that entire time for her service. The customer should not suffer or feel rushed due to another customer's demands, most especially when they were apparently a walk in/last minute appearance! Again, I feel that H is a great technician and does a superior job, but I do feel this management of customers that have made a specific appointment (and gone out of their way to make it in earlier than first requested) should be given their entire...
