Jack in the Box — Restaurant in San Diego

The North Park Jack in the Box is often a delightful experience. I recommend afternoons as the time to expect maximum delight. Delightful times may be different for the drive thru. I always go in because I get here on a bus and the driver has so far refused to drive us by the window.

There are two high tables and two tables of ordinary height. Since the high tables are unnatural and uncomfortable, nobody wants to sit at them, but at crowded times you have no choice. Sometimes you have only the floor if you want to rest.

Oddly, if you just want a cup of coffee, your order is put in a queue behind a zillion drive thru orders. So you may wait half an hour for the coffee. This was an oversight by the food engineers. They have the customer to handle his or her own drinks except coffee. The hostile people at Jack in the Box headquarters forgot coffee service!

Unlike almost every other Jack in the Box, this one does not yet attract people with huge, mean dogs, those people compulsed to put everything not nailed down into the toilet, and those who stand over your table sipping soda from the free water cups, oblivious to you and coughing upon your incredibly fattening chicken sandwich drenched in Ranch. The 11. That's my favorite.

And now, within a year, the US Supreme Court will allow everybody here at this very Jack in the Box to be armed. Then, I think, my coffee will come sooner, though I won't myself have a gun since the Navy has certified me gun...

The food was good. The lady at the register was pleasant. Something concerning about this location to be aware of. The manager had gloves on. That part is great since he was expediting the orders. However, he wiped his nose with the glove on the backside of the had. Then he kept working. He never washed his hands like the food handlers class he took or even just changed gloves...Really? Why? Gets better. I kept eating and just observing. He the preceded to run his whole hand with the glove on through his hair to fit it. Once again he failed to change the gloves or wash his hands. This is with all the Drama around the Virus that can kill people. I will NEVER eat at this Jack in the Box again. But if this was the unit manager. Fast food restaurants are in grave danger. He didn't touch my food or I wouldn't have eaten...

There service sucks. I ordered 3 egg rolls. Witch usully a sause comes with it. Witch guy never asked or offered anything to help the dryer out egg rolls. Then to top it off I ordered 3 different kinds of shakes. Once got home there was shake I ordered with I did not get oreo insted he gave me strawberry shake. The 2nd one was supposed to be chocolate shake with wip cream an a cherry. Instead gives mevanilla with no whip cream no cherry. Then for last 2 vanialla shake that was supposed to have wip cream a cherry. So got home called them. An they did not ever pick up there phone I am very upset an they don't have a strong staff they got away with it this time If I ever do go back ill make sure that my order is correct if not manager time/ teAm leader. Thanks an hope that you check over orders before leaving there...
