i never ever write reviews especially when it comes too food since anything can happen either good or bad. i don’t complain and i mean this sincerely but i can’t stop thinking abt my past two experiences here.
i’ve always enjoyed jack in the box especially this one. i usually like to order a late night dinner which includes the number 13 combo with a large cola. my go too meal, fortunately this one night i had forgotten to take my straw with me when i got back home so i decided too just gulp my drink down. i hadn’t noticed anything wrong until i took a second sip. looking at the drink cup i noticed black thin flakes that kinda resembled seaweed flakes that would’ve been soaked in soup. i hadn’t noticed it before but examining it further i knew it was mold. i couldn’t stomach more of it since the rim of my cup was covered in it and i decided to dump it out. it wasn’t just a couple pieces floating around it was a handful that covered the inside of my cup and the drink itself.
i thought maybe it was just a one time thing so i stomached up the courage too go back again another night. i placed the order through the drive through and got sprite this time since it would be easier too spot it. unfortunately the same thing happened again but in smaller quantities. those dam flakes floating in my drink :( i asked the person in the drive through if they can give me another one since there’s black flakes and the lady responded with “this is our only soda fountain, but i can get you another soda.” i was kinda taken it back and was debating between just not taking it or what the drive through employee suggested. since i still paid for my meal and wanted to get my moneys worth i decided to not be bothered and got fanta instead. luckily when they handed it back to me i hadn’t noticed anything strange floating around but im surprised that i never got an apology or acknowledging my concern. i don’t care for my own safety but this can def damage others especially with those that have a weak immune system. i’m still unable too go back since it wasn’t a coincidence that it happened once. i wonder to myself how many times did i drink moldy flakes here without knowing… i wish i had taken pictures but im just warning those that do decide too come here to always check ur drink...

Service is improving and the employees seem to enjoy their work. The food is decent, but, like other corporations they seem to be squeezing everything they can out of customers as inflation peaks.
Posting a photo of a nugget that now costs upwards of 48 cents each, including tax. If you order any meal, the price quoted is for a small, but they often ask you if you would like medium or large, or curly fries and that alone adds a few bucks to the already hefty prices for decent fast food.
Service 4.5/5 (Almost always get the order right, and they make it right if they make a mistake)

Value 2/5 it isnt cheap, unless you want a side salad or a couple of tacos with mystery meat.
Overall 3/5 because... $$$ bang for buck. you might be better off at a local small business / mom and pop restaurant.
FYI: I returned burned stuff and they fix it, but not without pushing back a little. They suggested that spicy chicken batter always comes out burned because it is a different recipe from original. Regardless I placed my order and I specifically ask for curly fries withy meal. When confirming my order at the pay window I asked her again if she put curly fries withy order because when we pulled away from the screen it said FRENCH FRIES STILL, but before I could finish she cut me off and said ' Ya ya it's all there. Then continued to verbally assault one of the employees belittling him tight in front of us. I was embarrassed for the guy. Then she hands me my order and what do you , FRENCH FRIES in my bag. I said mam I asked for curly fries. She replied 'Oh you didn't say'. I said I asked twice and you said yes they're curly.
