Living here was an absolute nightmare. This place gets 1 star for the lovely design concept.... Aside from that, there's nothing worth spending above premium price on. Before move in, we were treated like royalty. Once we signed the lease and moved-in... that treatment came to a halt. Pro-tip: don't let the leasing staff lie to you about the location of your unit. We moved here from across the country, and were told we would get bright sunlight. Not only did we never get daytime sun - there weren't even lights in our bedroom. With the corner unit we were in, even if we had the windows open to let some light in, our bedroom window faced another unit. Someone's living room looked directly into our bedroom (I'm talking like 5 ft away, clear as day). Unless you want someone watching what you're doing, the one small window you do get is virtually unusable. Aside from the major inconveniences, we ultimately had to break our lease early due to health & safety concerns. We did not feel safe living in this community. The list is long: there were construction workers in the hallways maskless during covid... maintenance staff have walked into our apartment (maskless) without notice, construction workers smoking in the courtyard areas (it WILL come in through your vents), there were ants/spiders/rats constantly needing termination... and nauseating animal urine, feces, and blood in the hallways and elevators (whether or not it gets cleaned regularly doesn't matter. Staff do nothing to remind residents to clean up after their pets, and on hotter days the smell gets horrendous)... The elevators are constantly down, car garage door gets broken at least once a month, there are break-ins (cars and houses), and the best they offer is to send you an email to remove valuables from your car. For the first month that we lived there - the door to walk out of the garage was locked. So when we went for a walk - we would get trapped inside of the garage. We had an electric key fob and a phone app (not a physical key) to enter the apartment - and there were times where the electronics in this would glitch and it was hard to get in. You need this fob to get inside of the elevator - there were times when we needed to take the stairs because the fob wasn't working. I don't even know where to begin about responsiveness of staff, either. Your emails will either be ignored, or at best passive-aggressively responded to as if you are a child who's never rented an apartment before. If you take the risk and go in-person to address your concerns, leasing staff will say that they'll notify a manager, and then they never do. If the concern is regarding pests, smells of smoke, or your unit - you'll be told to put a maintenance order in through the online portal... and then again, it will either get ignored or denied. The amenities were open for maybe 1 month out of the 6 months that we lived there. We had to make an appointment, give our ID to get a key fob, and walk circles around the community to get to the space. This doesn't work if you need to quickly run to the store - because then they have your ID and you can't get around. I wanted to be rid of the stress of living there but then they send a letter with extraneous charges (not listed in our written lease agreement) that we are not responsible for. If you're looking to pay for luxury living, unfortunately at One Paseo you will be paying Luxury Price and in return have the headache of dealing with nightmare issues. There is no way to enjoy what you pay for. The stress of living here was absolutely unbearable. I share this review because I wish there were more truthful reviews showing the real experience of living at One Paseo before we moved in. I've spoken with other residents who have also left (or are planning to leave) for similar reasons. I've attached some photos for reference - don't be fooled by the charm of a leasing tour. They only clean the hallways they walk you through.

My partner and I lived at One Paseo Living for over 2 years, and while we were there, we loved it. Excellent amenities, great location, friendly on-site staff, and the units were stylish with top-tier appliances. However, One Paseo’s tone changed immediately after we moved out. Greystar, the management company, sent a final bill listing three bogus charges for re-painting, carpet cleaning, and carpet replacement totaling about $600. The highlight—the “evidence” of damage to the carpet they shared—was that our bed had pressed down on the carpet where the bottom of the bed frame had been. In response, I shared with Greystar video footage of my apartment upon move-out, where it was in excellent condition with only minor wear-and-tear (which is to be covered by property management under California law), all of which is to be expected after 26 months living there. As tenants in good standing, we’ve never had any such charges at any other apartments we’ve stayed at prior or subsequently, since we are always meticulous about leaving our units clean and in good shape prior to moving out. When we contacted Greystar, they were unable to explain several things: why the carpets allegedly needed to be both replaced AND cleaned (and in which order?), why they believe the paint and carpets were in a condition beyond ordinary wear and tear, and which walls and floors specifically were damaged. Of course they could not answer these questions, because the apartment was in excellent condition upon move-out. After failing to respond, Greystar sent a debt collector to try to collect these illegitimate charges and tanked our credit scores in the process. Every time I have talked to Greystar, I have only asked for one thing: for them to remove these charges which are illegal to collect in the State of California, where ordinary wear-and-tear is the responsibility of the property manager and not the resident. The closest thing I got to an explanation was a Greystar representative saying that because the charges are in the system, they are assumed to be legit. They kept saying this repeatedly whenever I asked for more details about the charges. We’re absolutely furious with Greystar for (1) their bogus charges, (2) their inability to have a clear two-way conversation with a former tenant who is only asking for them to reasonably follow the law, (3) the lack of flexibility they assign their call-center workers when addressing straightforward complaints, and (4) their clear overall lack of humanity. I can no longer recommend living at One Paseo or any Greystar property to anybody who might eventually move out, and trying to get this resolved his has been enough of a headache that we will NEVER rent again with Greystar. Perhaps if you will live there indefinitely, you will have a great time. This has been by far the worst experience we have ever had with a property management company.

Having lived in many places over my life, and in some very prestigious buildings and neighborhoods, I’m grateful to call this home. Between the two salt pools and jacuzzis, the multiple outdoor cooking spaces, the elegant and well-appointed lounges, and plenty of parking, it’s really quite wonderful. Are there downsides? Sure, no place is perfect, but this is a very nice place to call home. Just a couple things (and I have nothing against families) but if you’re looking for a quiet adult environment, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for top level security, sadly this isn’t it (although up until just a short time ago it was). Areas they could work on include keeping the common areas a bit more clean, having a front doorman (and security), especially if they can keep idiots from constantly parking on the curbs. But other than that, it’s a superb neighborhood.

One Paseo is an exceptional apartment building that truly sets the bar for high-quality living and top-notch amenities. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with a sense of luxury and sophistication that is hard to find elsewhere.

One of the standout features of this apartment building is its attention to detail. Every aspect of the building has been carefully crafted to create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for residents. The lobby is spacious and well-lit with beautiful decorations!

Once you step into your apartment, you are immediately struck by the high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. The apartments are spacious, with plenty of natural light and top-of-the-line appliances and fixtures. The layouts are thoughtfully designed to maximize space and functionality, with ample storage and well-appointed living areas.

What really sets One Paseo apart is its impressive list of amenities. The building features a state-of-the-art fitness center, complete with top-of-the-line equipment and plenty of space for yoga and other activities. There is also a beautiful outdoor pool and sundeck, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Southern California sunshine.

But that's not all – One Paseo also features a range of convenient on-site services, including a 24-hour concierge, package acceptance and delivery, and even a dog-walking service. The building is pet-friendly, with a beautifully landscaped courtyard that provides a safe and comfortable environment for pets and their owners.

Overall, I cannot recommend One Paseo highly enough. This apartment building truly raises the bar for high-quality living and top-notch amenities. The attention to detail, spacious layouts, and impressive list of amenities make One Paseo a truly exceptional place to call home. If you're looking for luxury living in San Diego, One Paseo is the perfect choice.

A great part of the experience was the leasing process. A young lady named Raegan was assigned to me. As a leasing agent, Raegan stands out as one of the most professional and competent professionals in the industry. Her attention to detail, commitment to customer service, and knowledge of the rental market make her an invaluable asset to anyone seeking to find the perfect rental property.

From the moment I met Raegan, I knew that I was in good hands. She took the time to listen carefully to my needs and preferences, and she never pressured me into making any decisions that I wasn't comfortable with. Instead, she provided me with a wealth of information about the different rental properties available in the area, and helped me to narrow down my search to the properties that best met my needs.

Raegan was always available to answer my questions, provide guidance and support, and offer suggestions and advice. She was patient and understanding, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Her professionalism and knowledge of the industry were evident in every interaction, and I felt confident that I was in good hands.

What really sets Raegan apart, however, is her commitment to customer service. She truly cares about her clients, and it shows in the way she goes above and beyond to ensure that their needs are met. Whether it's responding to emails and phone calls promptly, providing detailed information about the rental process, or even taking the time to personally show me around different properties, Raegan always went the extra mile to make sure that I was happy and satisfied with the service I received.

In addition to her professionalism and commitment to customer service, Raegan is also incredibly knowledgeable about the rental market. She has a deep understanding of the local real estate market, and she was able to provide me with invaluable insights into the rental properties available in the area. Her expertise and guidance were instrumental in helping me to find the perfect rental property for my needs.

Overall, I cannot recommend Raegan highly enough. She is an exceptional leasing agent, and I would not hesitate to work with her again...
