Juicy Burgers — Restaurant in San Diego

Our burgers were juicy, the spinach burger was good but needed salt in my opinion. The onion rings were pretty basic but the ranch was really good, really brought it together. Cheese curds were really good, fries were meh, maybe go for the seasoned fries. Loved the chipotle sauce on the bacon avocado burger, flavors were all there, had juice dripping down my hands. I think what makes or breaks your experience here would be what you choose, if you choose your typical basic items like fries or onion rings or just a basic burger there's not much going on but if you get one of their signature burgers with a side of sauce you're going to enjoy it. Stopped in here with a couple people because the chicken pot pie place across the street was closed on Mondays. I had the double cowboy burger combo. The presentation was great but the meat was mediocre, it's the generic frozen 15% LFTB patties that are illegal to serve to humans in Europe Canada Mexico and most 1st world countries. So it wouldn't be a 5 star even if it was cooked right. We could see the cook pressing down on the burgers with the spatula against the grill expelling all fat and beef blood from the patties leaving them dry and needing ketchup to finish my burger. Definitely were not juicy burgers, we all agreed. The restaurant has indoor seating, it is very spartan. Just the basics. Don't let that fool you. Tell you how to review.The staff is friendly and happy to help. The burgers are very well priced. Considering the quality you get. I have been here twice now.And the burgers are definitely worth the trip. Be sure to avoid the bathroom unless you absolutely have to go. The parking is a little tight, but usually you can get something pretty close.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if you like good burgers and you're not into ambience or fanfare. I don't think you can get a better bang for your buck.
