Mae's Thai Kitchen — Restaurant in San Diego

Great food. I don’t usually write review, but after a great experience here at Mae’s Thai Kitchen, I couldn’t wait to let the world know about this restaurant. The restaurant is in a very discreet location ( hole in a wall) . There are plenty plenty of parking spaces. Nothing fancy, the restaurant is clean and very relaxing place to enjoy a great meal and perfect environment for a nice conversation. The people here are very nice and kind. I am Asian and I enjoyed Thai’s food all over San Diego and Southern California and the food here is one of the best Thai food if not the best. Their price is very reasonable too. Loved the food here!! It is a small but clean and cute restaurant 🥰 the food is so good! I called in my order with no problem. The service is excellent! Very friendly and welcoming. We tried the larb salad, red and green curry, pad see ew noodle, curry puffs and we were not disappointed! The Curry puffs are a must try!!! I've never seen them at any other Thai place before, my all time favorite!!! I love quaint places like this! We will definitely be returning! Tried this new little cozy place in my neighborhood that just opened, and it did not dissapoint. Food was amazing all freshly cooked. I ordered to go and my family loved it. The Drunken noodles with beef and shrimp was my favorite dish. The yellow curry was very tasty. Thai fried rice was on point and the crispy veggie eggrolls were good.
