She responded back in a low tone of voice. That first of all i couldnt hear and second of all she had an accent it was hard to understand what she said after she repeated herself about 4 times in a clear voice. She said It would be extra i told her i paid with card and disnt have the change and why would j get charge extra if it didnt have the correct amount of sauce on it. It was frustrating trying to communicate with her and at the end i said if she cannot do it to refund me my money and I will elsewhere. She said ok no problem. Really, I though what a goof role model for the store and the rest of the staff I spoke to Brandon and it seem he didnt care as well. Read moreI’ve been to this McDonald’s location more times than I can count. The interior is clean and the staff is friendly. They’ve pretty much moved to kiosk ordering completely, which is a bummer, but I understand due to the high labor costs in California. This particular location is right next to the I-5 freeway so the outside is pretty loud but that’s to be expected. It’s in a high access area which is handy. There’s also a motel next-door so I’m sure a lot of people who stay here eat here. The food is good as always. No problems there. And I noticed when people had some troubles with their order the staff seemed to fix things up right away. People do sit inside and listen to their phone at full volume watching video. That’s not the staff‘s fault that’s just what people seem to do here. So that is one downside, but the place is big enough inside where if you want to hide and not listen to it, you can sit farther away. For the drive-through, there is parking in case your order takes too long. One thing to know is a lot of times that orders and order numbers are read out in Spanish so that is an issue if you don’t speak Spanish. Read moreI’ve been a loyal daily customer for many years. Today, when I went to get my coffee, the McDonald's app logged me out — it was not working properly. The person at the window left me waiting with cars behind me. Then the “manager,” named Dafne, came over. I explained that the app had been malfunctioning since yesterday. As I mentioned, I’m a frequent customer — the only day I don’t visit McDonald’s is Sunday. Every other day, I come in and order coffee, burgers, nuggets, etc. The staff knows me well. However, the manager didn’t have the courtesy to enter the code manually for my coffee. She said she couldn’t do it, even though I know it’s possible — especially as a matter of customer service. That’s not good customer service. As managers, we should care for our regular customers and show courtesy when it's within our power to help with a situation. It’s just common sense and good service. Clearly, she didn’t care — probably because she’s not the owner. As an employee myself, I know we’re supposed to provide good service, be kind, and take care of our clientele.
