The place was very clean and that was nice, but our server seemed to just be in a very angry mood. I told her I needed a table for 4 and was told to sit anywhere so I did- but apparently, I sat at the wrong table? She had us move and was fine but she didn't even bring us menus for over 10 mins and when she did she just dropped them and walked away and didn't return to take out drink or food order until we flagged her down- and that was the only time she checked on our table.
The quality of the food was an issue all on its own. We ordered beef and broccoli (the "beef" was rancid and just felt like pieces of tendon, not meat. The baby corn and broccoli both tasted like dirty dosh water so that entire plate was entirely inedible and a waste of money. We also ordered orange chicken- which initially tastes good until you realize it's not real chicken and the inside more resembles tofu. We have up on trying to eat a few bites in and pushed our food to the side and waited about 15 minutes for our check even making wye contact with our server and eventually decided that maybe we have to go to the counter to pay so we got up and she rushed towards us telling us to sit back down, handing us the check. By that point, I was nauseous and annoyed so I left my husband to pay. I really wish we would have sponen to a manager because we didn't eat any of the meal. It really was the most disgusting food we...
Read moreJune 2016 One of worst items I tried first time ever trying not what I expected.. ordered Cantonese chicken... it had about 5- 6 pieces of breaded chicken of which 1/3 of them full of fat & mostly bread & it was soggy... the fried rice taste like soy sauce. The chicken didn't have any mushrooms I didn't taste any ginger or garlic. There were no scallions. The lunch special contains mostly mush fried rice and small serving of entree for 6.25 plus tax about 7 dollars... not worth it's price at all Serving small Quality poor Taste below average Overpriced Not what I expected from high ratings... I odereded lunch special Cantonese chicken..... ametuer cooking taste better..
8/15/16 Gave another chance to try a different item. Tried to Kung Pao lunch special I was so disappointed the chicken was very dry and had no flavor instead of tasting like Oriental kung pao chicken it taste like the Don Maria's mole poblano paste as its flavor if you ever tried the paste by itself it's bitter so the Kung Pao sauce is the poblano paste with soy sauce $7.50 you would expect it to taste a lot better than Panda Express especially for being in business for 20 years and being homemade Chinese food save your money or prove me wrong. Fried rice was okay they need real authentic flavors or need a new chef.
I am not Chinese and I make way better kung pao chicken kung pao shrimp and many other...
Read moreOkay so first of all. Im a huge fanatic of food. I love local restaurants especially. Here are my thoughts. Pros: billingual menu (large mexican community) -very friendly staff decent fried dumplings
Cons: cost of food for 2 people cost me just under $50 food isnt very presentable taste is mediocre -wait time was notorious there was about 6 orders ahead of me and i waited well over an hour for pork, rice, dumplings and sesame chicken
Summary: i couldnt continue eating the food, flavor wasnt all that great. I felt i paid way too much for way too little if the taste was better and the soy sauce didnt smell of urine i probably would've been happy with cost. Its difficult to find a decent asian cuisine restaurant; nobody cooks with the love of mom anymore and i can tell. There was no love put into this food. I am disappointed and saddened because I've heard so many good things.
Would not recommend unless you're jusy going for fried dumplings...
