6/7/18 - 25minutes in drive through, totally understaffed, long line at night, lady at food window opens the window shoves a bag at me, apparently I don't field them well enough for her, she shoves the drinks at me, I start to ask for straws, she looks right at me says thanks in some smoky, crabby, voice, then she watches me motioning and shoves the window shut; okay, I don't want no problems with that witch; then she gave me the wrong order; went back, she is witching and moaning inside, of course; two other people ahead of me looking displeased about their order; I try to get the mean drive through lady's attention, she knows the deal and she ain't having it; This and their soda machine is on the wrong mix for about a month and the crew know and don't care, they'll sell you it anyway; and never order the pies-the pies are always cold for about a year - never warm-cold every single time. They never fixed the pie warming machine and they'll sell you a "hot" pie and give you the cold one everytime. Work down the street, a lot of weeks at night, so this is a place close by for some food; this place once had a good crew, in fact a great crew, pleasant, determined, good people, now the group of ladies just give you the cold shoulder with the cold food. It could be a group of men, ignoring you as you stand there looking like you would ask a question, or shoving your food at you and showing no evidence of any manners, just forcing their crabbiness on you; unfortunately in this place it is the ladies they hired recently that seem to have never learned common manners and are in charge of their "let's be rude crew." As for the cold food, I don't blame the kitchen as much as the management. I may still come back if I get a craving for a crabby lady...
Read moreI ordered a plain Big Mac (plain, meaning meat, cheese, and bun only), 10pc Chicken McNuggets with 2 Buffalo dipping sauces, and a large Coke to go for my wife. When they handed the order, immediately off the bat, the only thing correct was the Chicken McNuggets. However, I had to bring items back because I ended up with a regular Big Mac instead of plain, and the dipping sauces they gave me were BBQ. My sauces were exchanged, and my Big Mac was replaced. However, this one still had burger sauce in it. I had to ask for another replacement. Now that I got the correct food and sauce, I brought everything home to find out from my wife that the drink is Dr. Pepper instead of Coke, and she also stated the Chicken McNuggets tasted old. This is poor food handling and management, because I am not looking forward to making a return trip to have them remake food AND drink items for a 4th attempt when everything should have been correct the first time. Are these people getting paid to serve customers this way just to upset them? If they are at least trying to do a good job, the manager on duty needs to get a huddle going and get them in gear, maybe try to slow down if they are trying to pace at a rate that is too fast for them to perform accurately. Otherwise, they have no business working to serve food to customers at this restaurant, or any other restaurant for that matter. Imagine if a person has allergies and orders food, and they put those items they are allergic to...that is gonna cost the company. We don't want that kind of problem....
Read moreA tall man was outside, asking customers where they went to school, and as a woman who constantly travels in transit and is frequently harassed by men, I figured he was just another man trying to start a conversation with me and my friend. I did not know his intentions, so my first instinct was to avoid eye contact and rush inside. He was a worker and aggressively chased after me and my friend, to DEMAND we responded. Once we communicated that we are students at the community college, he rolls his eyes and says, “What do you think this is?” as he points at his McDonald's Christmas sweater, which looks like an average sweater from afar. It takes a big ego to believe women are looking at you and your clothing, especially after already using a raised voice at me as if I were a child. I understand NOW that there is a protocol for the high school students around the area to avoid skipping. But to the average woman who has never set foot in this McDonald’s, it was an extremely uncomfortable experience that left me nauseous, sad, and angry. I came to this McDonald’s because it was supposed to be my safest option in the area, and I left feeling unsafe, just like everywhere else around here. Make the workers wear vests, hats, or other attire that is more obvious when asking for such information. Recognize that young women do not want to see a working man merely asking for information that might put them in danger later on. THINK WHERE THEY ARE COMING FROM. Especially...
