McDonald's — Restaurant in San Diego

Probably being a bit mean here as four stars are clearly deserved for the hundreds of successful meals they've made for my family, they like the gourmet coffee too.

...but that one time I got a large Diet Coke, kids got Sprite so I hadn't noticed I didn't get the Diet Coke. Turns out the Diet Coke was not Sprite but carbonated water, you know the syrup stuff ran out. Happens at Circle K all the time. Run in and dump out water and try to refill myself, manager is standing right there so I mentioned Diet Coke wasn't working inside either, she came over and pushed the lever at which time clear carbonated water comes out. At which point she told me it was working! I said Diet Coke isn't clear, she said again that it was working clearly having no clue what I was taking about. So I got orange drink instead. No big deal but as I said this appeared to be the manager, maybe not though. Bit of trivia in case nobody has mentioned, this McDonald's was the location where the San Ysidro crazy had lunch before going to another one that got torn down.

Edit 10-13-17: ordered three fries and got two, minus one star for you. Serves me right for having such a complicated order as three fries, two McDoubles, and forty piece chicken nuggets. Girl tried charging me for two twenty pieces which are more expensive than the requested forty, I'm not even mad over all this as I've come to expect...

Around 12pm on 4/11/2024 I had a very unfortunate experience today at this McDonald's. I ordered 2 Frappes with their app, ordered curbside pickup. When I arrived, I would up waiting 20 minutes for my order, went inside to let them know I have been waiting 20 minutes, Manager Maria walked by me 3 times behind the counter, each time I tried to get her attention, and she ignored me. Finally the person at the drive through window came and I told him how long I've been waiting, and I went back out to my car. By this point it was 25 minutes. By the time Manager Maria brought my order to my car it was 30 minutes, when I confronted Manager Maria about the way she previously ignored me when I tried to get her attention not 1, not 2, but 3 times, she rolled her eyes at at me and walkes away.

The Frappes were melted by the time I received them.

Manager Maria is a very disrespectful person, and I won't be returning to this McDonald's...

I rushed out from work to get lunch quickly because we were busy at work. Got into my car and went through the drive thru and ordered. I realized I had left my work bag and wallet at work and began to scrummage for money to pay the bill. The manager.....help me look through loose change in my car and then said he would just pay the remaining balance of the coins didn't add up. The coins ended up being enough but the kind gesture to pay for the balance really made an impression upon me. I don't remember his name......he was skinny ,white, black hair....I think his named started with a D.....I could be wrong. It's was awhile back and I meant to post....but didn't. So for what it's worth.....THANKS MAN......Good to people like you still exist in this crazy world of ours. I will remain a customer there...
