Meshuggah Shack — Restaurant in San Diego

This usedto be a San Diego Gem, but now it's changed, They have a new owner that has made it a very Unfriendly place, used to be a unique coffee shop with very friendly bulletin boards on the side of the building and then also in the back of the building for the community, well they have taken all of that down, The coffee taste burnt on two occasions, there is no more good customer service, And if you call them with a question or a request they treat you like you're not worth talking to and they answer the phone in this really weird angry tone, super strange, I hope people are more honest with their reviews and I hope this shop stops putting up fake reviews so the community can put up what's really happened to them when they go to this place, They shouldn't destroy what this place used to be, But they are destroying it, & they need to bring back the friendly bulletin boards also. Very disappointed. My boyfriend ordered a coffee for me and brought it home (20 minutes away). It was so acidic and It tasted like the beans were burnt. I found their number on Google and figured I’d give them a call to explain and see if i could come in another time for a replacement. A guy picked up the phone who explained he was the previous owner and that they never changed the phone number. He was very nice and even asked me what had happened, as he seemed concerned and sad about this experience. I searched all over to find another way to get a hold of them, and the only place i found was through instagram. So i sent them a message and it’s been over 2 weeks and i have heard nothing from them. This is not a good way to run a business and Clients should have a way to get a hold of the business. I love this place. I would come at least twice a week before I moved away for school. I flew back today, wanted my favorite coffee from my favorite place, and I come at 4:30. 30 minutes before closing, I assumed I would have been able to get coffee? The woman says her “espresso machine is closed for the day,” and I ask her if there’s anything she can do, and she says no.
