My gf spent the night last night and n the middle of the night the person next door knocks on her door. She did not answer, it was 3 a.m. Next thing she knows, kicks the door n, rushes into the room screaming at her n acting n a threatening manner. She called the police n he was arrested. The motel moved her to another room. She was scared n didn't sleep good afterwards.
N the morning when i show up to her room n i see the door kicked n i didn't know what to think. I go to the front office to inquire n to find out where she is. The lady at the front desk said that the police were called n the occupant was no longer on premises. So i think maybe for some reason she was arrested or worse, hospitalized. Which was totally a possibility. I was scared at that point.
Well it turns out she moved to a different Room n that she was the one that called the police. So, when i found out About what happened, i was upset. She was scared, n i was led to believe that she was arrested. So we went into the lobby to talk go the front desk Clerk to let them know how it effected her n that she needs another night at the hotel bcuz she didnt get good sleep after the incident. They were rude, so i asked to speak to a manager. We requested that we get the room she was n now for another night for compensation. He said, no way. We don't have a say on who gets comped. The guy couldnt even look at me when we were discussing it. He was rude. So i ended up paying for her to stay another night. That was really upsetting. What kind of establishment has no say n who gets comped? Whatj of motel does not allow a manager to make the decision to comp a Room to a paying guest. My gf is traumatized from this whole ordeal of z strange man kicking n her door. All day, anyone coming n her direction effected her.
Other than this rating, i don't know what to do to feel better About this place. But i recommend night staying at the mission...
Read moreBad Bad buisness. Forget about the fact that rooms are outdated and the maids don't know how to clean. Also, the maids are inconsistent. A man knocked at our door one evening around 4:00pm and claimed to be a maid. It seemed shady. We told him we didn't need anything and didn't open the door. I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. I paid a $100 deposit on my debit card upon check in which is required by the hotel. When I checked out on Friday, I handed the man my key and said I was checking out. He looked on the computer and said everything was good and no charges. I went on my way. On the following Sunday March 26th 2017, I looked at my bank account and noticed an $84.38 charge from the mission valley resort. I called right away to find out what happened. That charge caused me 5 overdraft fees because I didn't know they were going to take money. Anyway, I called Sunday and left a message for David regarding the matter. David didn't call me back. I went to the resort and talked to David. He explained the charged was for a pet fee. The maid said we told her not come in our room because we have a dog. That sounds so dumb and is not true. David said he would investage it and give me a call. I had a bad feeling about it. I went to my bank and they are investigating it too. I called David Tuesday and left a message and called Wednesday and left a message. No returned call ever. I called him from my boyfriend's phone and surprise he answered. He said he talked to all of his staff and claimed I was informed by all of them. Not true. He said I got a phone call also, my phone records say otherwise. They are liars and will take money without you knowing. Bad bad buisness. The hotel is not as cheap as...
Read moreTo call this place ghetto would be unfair to the ghetto. My line of work takes me to many hotels and resorts, and this is the first time I've felt actual fear for my safety. As we checked in, every single person we saw looked like they had either just gotten out of prison or were on their way in - druggies and hookers and thugs.
There was no elevator to the 2nd floor, so as I'm lugging our luggage up the stairs, my pregnant wife carries our 1 year old daughter up ahead to open the room, and before she makes it to the door, some lady walks her and starts threatening and insulting her. When I got into the room, my wife was literally shaken to the core - she couldn't believe she just had her life threatened by a stranger while she was carrying our child.
The room itself was complete garbage. It looked like it was built in the 1970's. The TV was the old box kind from the 1980's. No refrigerator. The handle came off the toilet when it was flushed. It was the most disgusting, desolate place I ever had the misfortune of stepping into. I was on the phone immediately with Travelocity and they relocated me to another hotel, but I had made up my mind that we were leaving, even if I had to eat the cost of the room because you couldn't pay me enough money to stay there, let alone keep my family there.
