N.Y. Giant Pizza — Restaurant in San Diego

I have changed my review of this shop. My husband recently made an order from them on a rainy night and they put us in the QUE for delivery. Granted we live across the street but the delivery driver had just left to fill the hourly orders.The driver went back to the shop specially to pick up our pizza . He came up to the 3rd Floor , with no problem then actually apologized for taking 45 minutes ... we were told an hour or over wich my husband was totally fine with because it was raining ...so to be at our door in 45 in the rain is AMAZING Customer Service!!The pizza quality has been up graded too because the taste of just the simple cheese pizza has gotten way better. I don't know if its under new ownership or why the service has changed but I see a huge difference in 2023. Thank You!! I will be recommending this pizza shop to visitors now!

We live across the street at Eaves Apartments and have ordered before with a good experience. This time we were told to wait in the car for 15 min to get the pizza brought to us , we waited 30 min!! Finally my daughter went inside , the pizza was cold , my daughter was told they had a bigger order from a hospital had come in and they forgot to bring out the pizza ... what Jerks!!!! We would’ve been LONGTERM customers, long after hospitals are making big orders .. you sent my daughter out the door with a COLD Pizza, not offering to make a new fresh one ....but instead simply saying OOPS ... OH WELL.....HOW UNBELIEVABLE .....there are other Indie businesses that welcome our $$$$....... I will NEVER ORDER from here again. Respect your local customers and don’t give them THE SHAFT for a Bigger...

During my pizza addiction, I tried to dig into my childhood pizza archives and I have fond memories of N.Y. Giant Pizza. I am not going to lie, but there are so many places named New York Giant Pizza or something extremely similar, so I do not trust my memories at all. The restaurant itself was pretty clean and the worker helping me was nice. Since I called in my order, my pizza was fresh and ready when I arrived.

Supreme Pizza: 1.5/5 I ordered this pizza without olives and they were sure not to add any. The pizza photographs very well and looks fresh and delicious. While I will affirm that it was fresh, the pizza itself was a disaster. The amount of vegetables they put on it made the center extremely soggy and watery. The sauce itself did not taste like much and the dough was the same, very bland and uninspired. The toppings were definitely more on the raw side and retained a lot of moisture, so it was a very unpleasant experience eating hot damp pizza dough with warm but still raw-ish veggies. Perhaps their pizzas without vegetables are cooked better, but with supreme pizza being a standard, I am not too hopeful. I am SO happy I found NY Giant Pizza on the web yesterday while looking for a place that would deliver to my husbands work. It was our anniversary and I asked if they could make the sauce into the shape of a heart or do something special. Joe was SO friendly and helpful and they really went the extra mile! They made the ENTIRE pizza in the shape of a heart and decorated it with BBQ sauce on top. They even wrote a personal note on the box inside! My husband's favorite pizza is BBQ chicken pizza and he said "It was TRULY one of the BEST I have EVER had!" I can't say enough good things about their TOP quality New York Pizza and their amazing customer service!!!! It was the perfect ratio of toppings to sauce and the crust was delicious!!!!!!
