North Park Beer Company Pizza Shop — Restaurant in San Diego

I have been here twice and live in the area, so I am invested in one of our key corners being the best it can be.

This place has great potential, but needs a few food upgrades. I like North Park Brewing Company's NP location.

The staff has all been friendly and helpful. The pizza is baked in an oven that is too hot. The bottom and risen crust were blackened, but the core of the pizza was perfect. It would really benefit from a better temperature.

The pizza taste just felt..lacking. Like it just needed a dash of salt or something.. Almost there on taste.

We had wings, and they were bad. A too large shot of heat wrapped in a membrane of grease. That's almost the description of excellent wings, almost.

Overall I hope they take a review of their recipes and cooking techniques to make the refinements this place needs to become a staple of...

Really not more than 3 stars. It looks more like a school cafeteria or a fast food, not warm atmosphere at all. The crust of the pizzas and the way they bake it is excellent , but they spoil it with a so-so topping As for their sandwiches, they have nothing to do with sandwiches; it’s a pizza that they cut in two and they bend it like a taco, and then they will put the chicken (excellent by the way) , or any other ingredient and they top everything with a huge amount of pizza sauce ; impossible to eat it, disgusting and no more taste , maybe with half the sauce it was a good idea ? Salads so so too We did not try the beers , so I have no judgement , but their sodas are made with sugar cane instead of fructose, and this is excellent.
