Super yummy sushi and the staff was very attentive and welcoming to us! We were excited that we stopped by on a day when they had local toro (caught here in Baja) as a special. The toro was super fresh and delicious. My boyfriend tried the sashimi platter and he loved the tuna here, which made this place his new fave spot to order tuna! I ordered the crunch onion specialty roll, which was really great and I would order again! Good texture added with the crunch onion on top and the sauce tasted great with the tuna. The owner even came out to explain our meal to us and we loved seeing how passionate he is about Oishi! Definitely recommend checking this spot out!

Our new favourite neighborhood sushi spot! We were very hungry, so only managed to snap one beautiful roll but we ordered a variety of rolls, recommended specials, and the tempura udon. Everything tasted authentic, delicious and fresh, including the recommended specials. The service was top-notch, just genuinely wonderful people who were very attentive, kind and welcoming. Their patio setup has a great indoor-outdoor ambiance and is also dog-friendly, which is so hard to find. We can’t wait to come back and taste the rest of the menu!

Blew my expectations out of the water. All the fish was fresh, the octopus wasn't chewy, the extras on the plate (cucumber salad, seaweed salad, pickled radishes and I think beets?) were great. Love that it's small, love that it's open late, love that the food tasted great. We also got a hamachi roll that tasted wonderful too. I'm usually deterred by menus with dozens of rolls on it but if they all tasted as good as the one we had last night, let em cook.

We live around the corner from this spot and were excited for them to open. I am not really a sushi person (also vegetarian and very picky), so I can be a bit tricky. We ordered way more than we could possibly eat, but we had to try things. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! We also appreciated the dog friendly patio dining option. We might not have even stopped in yet without it. Across the board, everything about this place so far is a huge...
