It reflect poorly on u and the business , make u look bad and stupid just sayin 🙄 and 8 month for a rude answer u had time to think about & an insult + im french is all u came up with ? Wow color me impress maybe try to expend your vocabulary ? Also ur ignorance is showing there is plenty of non french cooking tremendous french food. Nationality doesnt equal quality nor garantee taste or authenticity 🤦♀️u learn something new today ) NOT TRADITIONAL FRENCH .calling a customer liar because they dont like constructive criticism lol wont be going back nor recommend it to anyone seeing the attitude.ONLY INSPIRED french yes and i stick by it. Just because the bakers are french doesnt mean the receipes are automatically traditional or good. No one said bakers arent french , just that the TASTE wasnt to the level expected .clearly they cant read...so i dumb it down. the pastries dont taste like the one in france.taste like a fusion or experimental ? not traditional.plenty of other bakeries in La pasadena or oc that are more elevated yet taste traditional like france.dont be fooled by the look, taste isnt there. While the location itself is beautiful and they are multiple restaurent around . There is beautiful lights its very artsy you get that beach / ocean vibe and feels kinda on the higher end .the shop itself is very small the pastries choice are very limited the staff couldnt care less not very welcoming and very poorly train. The pastries are very grossly overpriced . You can get fresher better tasting one at moulin for 8$ not 11$ . The pastries were dried old the cake been sitting too long . I had the rose cake it was a hot mess the sponge part crumble and is over soaked . 35 $ for a tiny cake go to LA or orange county they got better ones . I drove 2h+ to try this bakery i was beyond disappointed by it . Wont be coming back . Guess you are paying for the "ambiance" but not the taste . I will stick to moulin for delicate true french sweets.
Read moreLe Parfait Paris is located within Sky Deck in Del Mar Highlands. As soon as you go up the escalators and through the door, you'll see the signage for this spot. There's an abundance of tables and some couches available to sit on inside. As well as seating outside. The ceilings are high and there's ample sunlight shining through.
There was only one worker the day I went and he was attending another customer. He was really nice and friendly. I noticed that he kept referencing little placecards (to ensure he's making things correctly). Must be new, too bad there wasn't another worker there to help him out and give him some pointers. I had an Iced Honey Lavender Latte here, for about $6.50. He asked me if whole milk was okay and if I wanted it on the sweeter side or more espresso forward. I asked for a balance of the two, as that's the norm when it comes to specialty drinks, or at least in my opinion. As kind as he was, the finishing product of the drink was very lackluster. The drink was watered down and when I got near the end there was a thick gloop of liquid honey (that didn't get mixed into the espresso). I originally thought he just mistakenly grabbed two plastic cups, but it was because he accidentally spilled a large amount of honey down the side of the cup.
I've been to several other locations of Le Parfait Paris and enjoyed my food/drinks (croissant sandwich, macarons, cappucino). This was just an unfortunate timing, but I am sure that the next time I visit-- it will be a...
Read moreThis establishment has the potential to be better, but they are extremely under staffed for a weekend morning and that has translated into long waits, mishandled orders, and poor attitude by the staff. We came here at around 11am on Saturday morning and ordered a crepe and a savory croissant. There was one person behind the register and one employee making the food. We were told there would be a 10-15 min wait but after ordering we realized there are more than a handful of people waiting for their food, so we ordered a regular croissant to start. We also ordered two coffee drinks, but the machine was malfunctioning and it took multiple tries to get a cappuccino. They gave us a buzzer and sat down in the Sky deck area waiting for the food. About 30 mins later, I went to the counter to find our food sitting there cold but their buzer never went off. She claimed she called the number but I guess they forgot to activate the buzzer. She gave us the attitude but ended up remaking the crepe. The lady at the cashier was handling the situation better, but the one cooking was clearly overwhelmed and unfriendly. The food is nothing extraordinary, but obviously being made in a rush by employees who are overworked and clearly don't want to be there. Nevertheless, we love the sky deck concept and have had great experiences many other...
