Carmel Grove Park — Attraction in San Diego

This park is pretty good for anyone who wants to go outside and have some fun with family/friends. The playground is excellent for kids, and there is a giant field which lots of older kids and teens play around on. There is no violence in this park, and it is a very family friendly area. The only two suggestions I would make is to the dog owners, please put your dog on a leash if lots of people are there and pick up their mess. The park is within walking distance from our house which is GREAT! We take the dog and a football and have a blast. The best part is that the park is never busy but when others are there, it is usually just a small family or two. So we never really have to share all that green grass, and there's quite a bit. It's a nice community park where any people who live in the neighborhood walk to. There is no parking lot or a bathroom, which is why it's a 4 star for me instead of 5.
