The Salsa is mostly diced onion, very little tomato or tomatillo or peppers. Should have much more tomato and not rely on onions to make it spicy. Worst Salsa at any Mexican restaurant I have ever had. The hot sauce is good though. So if you order a burrito have them leave out the salsa (which is onion), and use the hot sauce instead. Also the guacamole is green colored liquid that goes rancid in an hour or two, very little actual avocado or it would be chunkier instead of soupy. So if you want to take something with guac to the park or the beach forget about it, go somewhere else to get your food. I ordered a Carne Asada Burrito no Pico de Gallo, with extra Guacamole inside. I received my burrito with a thin spread of guacamole on the tortilla and quite a bit of sour cream. I guess they thought they pass off sour cream as the extra guacamole that I ordered and payed for and didn't get. Their Carne Asada Burrito does not come with sour cream. The burrito was not even warm when I got it home and I only live 1 mile away. The Carne Asada meat was a bit chewy, it should be more tender. They could learn to make salsa and guacamole from Lalo's , Filibertos, Ponces, Santana's, Cotija or go to Epicurious, or food network . Meat is good but everything else except hot sauce is up to question. I do recommend their Carnitas burrito, it is a bit greasy but very good flavor and meat is tender.

This taco shop is usually pretty good when I hit it up for lunch but today the line was really slow. I work down the street and normally would go back to deal with a screw up but today I had limited time. I sat for almost 10minutes while two cars ahead had a special order. The person came out, clarified, took the order of the next car, went back inside and I sat for another 5 minutes. I ordered a #11 - two beef tacos w rice and beans. Eventually I got my order but didn't check. It smelled different, kind of earthy. When I got back to my desk and opened the box it was soggy carne asada fries. Flavorless, lukewarm, no salsa and undercooked fries. Not only did I not get the right item, because I didn't get a total before I paid I was charged incorrectly. Entirely my bad for not checking everything before I drove off but beware. I called to let them know. Apparently there is a new order taker but this was a rather expensive and unsatisfying experience, particularly as I've eaten here since 2009.

This location is open 24 hours and they have a drive thru. They have some kind of safe bullet proof box for you to put your money in and receive your food. It is also right next to a mortuary so this location is interesting! I ordered the carne asada fries and the meat was honestly one of the best I've had. It was perfectly seasoned and tender. Fries don't include sour cream but their guacamole is amazing. It was fresh and had lots of chunks of avocado. Fries are not crispy but I personally prefer them on the softer side so it was perfect. Quick and straight to the point. Salsas were good. Prices are expensive compared to others but they include a lot of meat. Location is unsafe so I wouldn't go at night if you are new to this area.

Lastnight, I ordered 5 chicken roll tacos from Rogoberto's taco shop 5070 Federal Blvd San Diego Ca 92102. When i got them they were saugy, on account of how hungry i was I ate one. I could not bear to eat another! It smelled like fish. My husband is a cook in a restaurant, and in our conclusion the food was rotten.

The plan to take the food back and get a refund was successful. Although, I can't help but ponder the fact that it seemed as if they already knew they sold me rotten meat. There were about 5 workers, while all their attention was on me about 3 smelled the food and acknowledged the stench. The others employees including the lovely woman translating for me who was enjoying her freshly cooked meal, denied the food to be rotten. They even tried to tell me & i quote, " Thats just the cheese, thats what cotijas cheese smells like, next time order them without cotijas cheese." When she didnt even smell the food. Maybe they thought i couldn't understand spanish, because I didn't speak it. But i can also quote them saying, "just give her 6 dollars back, its just 6 dollars," .."if she ends up in the hospital its on you because your the cook." The whole time it seemed to be funny to them. 😚🤣😂😅😌

They made it seem like I wanted my money back because i was full. Which was not the case.

I got my money back, but money 💰 is not the issue. My issue with this restaurant is they are going to continue selling rotten meat and poultry to randomly selected customers, inlcuding our children. And continue to laugh about it.

I took a food handlers class, and this restaurants employees have no clue how devestating the consequences can get from food born sicknesses.

Yes, I reported my situation to the health department of san diego.

I am rating this restaurant to inform my community of my awful experience ordering from this place.

Off to hug the...
