The menu keeps changing as they are still figuring out what works and what doesn’t work. We came at peak lunch time on a Saturday and our food came out quick. We ordered: -Chicken wing garlic fish sauce: This was crispy and seasoning was right on. We liked how it was fried and wanted to try other flavors but got too full. -Broken rice grilled pork: Loved that they offer legit broken rice, the bbq pork was nicely char and moist. The egg loaf was a bit dry. -Bánh canh tôm cua: least favorite out of all. The broth has a thick consistency similar to egg drop soup with starchy tapioca noodles. Broth wasn’t as flavorful as other places and lacking more shrimp flavors. -Crispy fried egg noodle w beef: Can’t go wrong with this dish. Crispy noodles with veggies on top. -Periwinkle snails in coconut milk: wow, the portion was generous. I prefer the curry broth to be more curry-like, it was more of a watered down coconut curry. -mussels with green onion sauce: This was prepared nicely. You must dip in their sauce to get the whole experience. For drinks, I got the coconut coffee I tasted the coffee and coconut flavors, wasn’t too sweet. My friend got the coconut kumquat. She likes that it was refreshing and they used whole kumquats with the skin. She also tasted a bit of lemon and preferred it to be more sour and not so sweet. Overall, this place gives you a glimpse of Vietnamese street food. I like the seafood items. Reminds me of night market. If we come back, I’ll get the escargot just because those are bigger than the snails and less effort to eat. You can enter from the parking lot or through the supermarket.

Saigon Corner is an absolute gem for Vietnamese cuisine, and their Bò Né is a standout dish. This dish is absolutely incredible—served sizzling hot on a cast iron plate with sardines, eggs, pâté, and that buttery, savory sauce that ties everything together perfectly. Pair it with the warm, crusty baguette they serve on the side, and you’ve got a meal that hits all the right notes. The flavors are rich and comforting, with just the right amount of spice and balance. You can tell it’s made with care and attention to detail. It’s the kind of dish that keeps you coming back for more. The staff at Saigon Corner are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They always greet you with a smile and provide attentive, caring service throughout your meal. It’s clear they go out of their way to make you feel like family, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere every time you visit. If you’re craving real Vietnamese food or just want to try something new, Saigon Corner is a must visit. Highly recommended!

I had the 7-level spicy noodles and really liked it! It’s a favorite dish among young Vietnamese people, so I was happy to see it at this place. My friend ordered the dry “hu tieu go” Saigon-style and enjoyed it too. We also got a coconut kumquat drink and a milk tea. Everything tasted good and felt familiar.

I had an amazing dining experience at this authentic Vietnamese restaurant- Saigon Corner in San Diego, California last night. We went in a group so that it's a good chance to try a variety of food. My friend tried the Vietnamese pork noodle soup- Mì Gõ khô and it was perfectly cooked noodles with flavourful broth. I also tried the rice with fried chicken, and it was equally impressive. We also ordered wonton soup, and ox tail beef noodle which is really fragrant and tasty. We had milk tea, Đá Me (Tamarind and peanut), and orange fruit tea. All of them are comforting. If you're looking for a place that serves authentic Vietnamese food, this spot is definitely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly...
