(2.5) Don’t bother calling the phone number attached to the business, according to the staff they don’t have a phone so if you mess up on an order and need to fix it, oh well

I placed a large order for a provider meeting and one of the items had to be removed since one of the providers wasn’t able to attend, I kept calling and the call never connected, luckily for me, the place is just up the street so I was able to go in person to do my modifications

When I informed the girl at the counter that they should check their phone connection as my calls weren’t going thru, she just said, oh we don’t have a phone here, so I pulled up Google and was like, well this number is attached to your business, is this not the number, and she again said, no, we don’t have a phone line here, so they just have some random number on google that no one can call?

Anyways, I asked for a refund on the two items I no longer needed and it was given to me, but they didn’t give me a receipt to show the refund had been made, when I explained that I needed a receipt because I used the company credit card, the girl behind the counter said she didn’t know how to print it out, I had to take a photo of the screen as proof for the expense report

All in all, while the food was good, it was such an odd experience, what kind of business doesn’t have a phone to allow patrons to communicate with them or know how to print a receipt for proof of...

A friend of mine is a longtime San Diego-based barista and a diehard coffee nerd, so when she recommended Scrimshaw there was really only one thing to do. It took me a minute to find the place because I could not believe it was in that neck o' the woods. It is sandwiched between a neat furniture store and something like a tax preparer's office. So there's street parking up front and there is a number of spaces in the parking lot in the back. I walk in the front door and am immediately struck by the simple beauty of the place. The menu is painted on the wall. Fun! I ordered a cappuccino, and the guy taking my order was totally willing to strike up a conversation. He seemed like a very friendly person and it turned out the guy taking my order is one of the owners. Before we got tired of talking, the barista brought over my capp. The art was top notch, the milk was amazing, the espresso was good, and she was wearing fun spectacles. Scrimshaw has it going on....

Today I stopped by this coffee shop by chance. I couldn't find a matcha on the menu, so I had a classic latte. Let's start with the atmosphere of the place. Overall, it's good here, I can't say that I really liked it, but it's probably the style of the interior. There is enough space inside and outside. All the seats inside were taken, so I sat outside. In addition to coffee, there are various snacks and a selection of desserts. Although they didn't really appeal to me 😀 Additional accessories and clothing are available for sale. You can also buy coffee beans. The service is nice and your coffee will be brought to your table. Let's move on to the main thing, the coffee ☺️ it is really good here. I liked everything about it.
