9;30 or 9;35pm Friday evening the 12th of October. I ordered a large mozzarella cheese sticks and a number one cheese burger. Got home in 8 minutes. The burger meat was ice cold and when I took it apart you could see the cheese had been melted at some point but it and the meat solid cold and dry. Totally unacceptable.
So when I called they apologised in a rather routinely manner. Yes, they offered to replace the order after I said, I would come back in tomorrow with the receipt because now It required me taking the burger apart to heat it and that is unacceptable. It should be hot when recieved, not packaged for who knows how long, ice cold. The wait time was because they had to fry the cheese sticks yes they were hot! I like to support this place because they help the teens, not just work them to death. I have worked in several of the fast food chains when I was a teen and know what should be expected.VERY disappointed with whoever is mgmt this night and their lack of proper employee training. Manager on duty,(name left out in respect) you need to do better. The employees are only as good as who trains them, so the responsibility falls to you. Now it is back in the bag and my appetite is gone.
Also, I am more in the habit of giving great reviews, and am not happy that this had to be in this manner. You don't even have the excuse that it was busy because it wasn't. One car in front of me and two cars behind me in drive through. Maybe the parking stalls were half filled and I am being generous. Food is a serious matter not to be taken lightly. I was thrilled when they came to North Park. But it has now become a joke and will go the way of Burger King previously there. Sad to say Burger King was terrible and this night, out did them!! I went back the next day. Rawylak took care of me, and remembered me from the call the night before. She was more than helpful in replacing the order with a fresh one. I did the walk In and noticed the interior could up on the cleaning. It was a greasy floor and where ever they wiped you could tell. I gave Rawylak my perspective of the mgt and what I observed. Hopefully Sonic will take the advice and up their effort on cleanliness and food service. I would hate to see them go the way of Burger King. So, I have up my rating to 3 stars. I said I wanted a regular waffle cone with vanilla ice cream. Whoever was taking my order (I am pretty sure was the manager) said “we have waffle cones but not the sauce”. I told her “I just want a regular waffle cone with vanilla ice cream” once again. When I got to the window the drive thru attendent started to hand me a chocolate waffle cone with vanilla ice cream with what looked like Oreos on top. I told her “that isn’t what I ordered, I wanted a regular waffle cone, not a chocolate waffle cone, with vanilla ice cream”. She said “okay, it’s 3.25 “. I paid her and then she shut the window to re-make it. She came back to the window and handed me a chocolate waffle cone once again, but without the Oreos on top. I told her “no I didn’t want a chocolate waffle cone”. She said “let me get my manager then” with a severe attitude and proceeded to slam the drive thru window. The manager came to the window and I showed her a picture of what a regular waffle cone looks like and told her that is what I was asking for. She said “well we don’t have those - I thought you wanted the chocolate is what you meant.” I told her I wanted something else then. I told her I wanted a small sonic blast. When she handed us the ice cream in the car she handed it to us without a spoon and shut the window. We then waited at the window while both the manager and drive thru attendent saw us sitting there and ignored us. After sitting there for a minute watching the drive thru attendent looking at us.. she finally opened the window and didn’t say one word but just looked at us. My boyfriend said “can we please get a spoon?”. She then didn’t say one word but grabbed a spoon and handed it to him and shut the window.
To the owner of this franchise: your employees are rude and inconsiderate and need to be reminded they work in hospitality. Your employees also need to be educated in what your particular location has to offer, it can save you time and resources by not having your employees make food that the customer never asked for or wanted. Read moreI went there last night (Aug 21) I got 2 burgers combos 1 with a shake (which the cashier forgot to give me and I had to go back to ask for it) I also ordered some Mozzarella Stix which I did not received, I noticed when I got home and it was late to go back, so I decided to go back today (Aug 22) to get them. When I got there to complain about my missing item the girl at the speaker told me she couldn’t do anything, that I had to call the manager in order to get a resolution, I have a great memory and I recognized her voice through the speaker, when I told her it was her that took my order last night she denied it saying she did not worked last night. When I got to the window, I saw her taking orders, so she lied about not working last night, she was wearing the same face mask as Friday night (a hot pink one with Louis Vuitton print on it) and her name is SADE, so please sonic managers please talk with your employees about not lying to customers. Another girl attended me at the window, so when I realized that SADE was there I told the cashier that it was her the one who messed up my order last night, as soon as I said that I saw SADE flip her identity card so I couldn’t see her name, but I already knew she was so that was unnecessary. I got to speak to a manager who was really rude, first of all he was not wearing a mask when he was talking to me, and he dare to call me a liar! I could not see his name because he also had his card flipped. I don’t know what’s the point of having managers if they are not there to help customers, instead of helping he insulted him. I told him to check the cameras so he could see the incident of last night and he ignored me, all he kept on saying was that I was probably lying when I was not. I wouldn’t make that much drama for an order of mozzarella stix, but it really unfair for us paying and constant customers to be treated like liars when we are not.
