Subway — Restaurant in San Diego

I never leave reviews because I myself work in the restaurant industry so i try to be polite to others and understanding

But this has the be most unpleasant visit to my local subway 416 west san ysidro blvd ste M san ysidro 92173

When i come to subway i like to customize my sandwich and add extras (double meat) even if it costs more im willing to pay I like to enjoy my food

Im a pregnant lady with cravings i asked for a tuna sandwich double bacon provolone and toasted

For veggies i was craving tons of jalapeños FRIDA said i was only able to get 6

Mind you i opted out of veggies only asked for lettuce cucumbers and tons of jalapeños I offered to pay more and FRIDA the sandwich artist denied it and pull out the veggie formula sheet from behind the counter with a disrespectful attitude

I have worked at subways before i know formulas, i know sandwiches but im also aware that if a guest requests more you can up-charge or ask a manager

Also a guest who is paying for double meat already wouldn’t mind paying additional for a side of jalapeños

Its ridiculous

Not only this but she had an attitude when i asked for extra jalapeños she threw the napkins at me and i returned them

I love subway i buy it often but this is terrible customer service especially for someone who is willing to pay extras

Maybe you need better training on the employees Maybe she was having a bad morning but this is unacceptable

I purchased two sandwiches, 2 chips, extra meat, 2 cookies and large drink i was willing to pay to enjoy my meal

But this was simply unacceptable

At the end FRIDA had a disgusting attitude And didnt even charge me properly she forgot extra meat she forgot bag of chips So why did giving mw extra jalapeños matter if she still made the business lose money

When i asked for a complaint number or manager customer service...

I come here all the time for lunch and usually order my food over the phone so I wouldn't spend my 30 minute lunch waiting in line. Today I tried to call my order in and the guy I spoke to hesitated to take it and then told me to order it online. I explained to him how I have tried previously but it doesnt give me the option to select the bread I would like or customize it the way I want. He said if I write it in the comments, they will change it and I explained how I have tried that before and I still get my order wrong. He said to do it online anyways so I tried and it didnt even give me the option to write comments this time. I called back and finally after calling a few times, he picked up and said hes not going to take any phone orders. When I told him that it doesn't let me customize my food online, his response was "well then order it here" very rudely! I immediately asked what his name was, and he hung up!! I tried calling back and no answer! I got there immediately after because it was time for my lunch and I asked who the person on the phone was and he insisted that it was a guy named gabriel who was new and just left. I asked for the manager and he said the manager wasnt there. ALONSO and ARTURO were both there and arturo wasnt even wearing his mask right! Right over the food! Is this the way subway runs their stores? Sad to say I will never come back here because of them. They need to get...

The woman was training a new employee, had two customers ahead of me. While placing my order in the toaster, she was finishing up the three orders ahead of mine and helping the trainnig employee as he ran them through the register. After taking my order out of the toaster(that was also left in the toaster too long) she left my sandwich on the counter for over five minutes as she was overwhelmed, ill also add she had a very bitchie attitude. Felt as I was bothering her by ordering there, felt very uncomfortable and awkward. Ill also throw in she was stingy with the olives and spinach....etc. Couldn't get out of there fast enough, felt like leaving every minute while ordering but I stuck it out I was hungry, ate the sandwich trying with great effort not to think about the mood she put me in.
