Sushi Fish Attack — Restaurant in San Diego

My friend and I tried this place randomly! It's a little hole in the wall restaurant in Clairemont. There is limited parking in the lot, but street parking is available. The restaurant itself is small and gets pretty crowded. I recommend calling to make a reservation when they open. All the servers are all so welcoming and sweet! Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area. Miso soup: (5/5) Very good flavor and has some tofu in it. Garlic edamame (without chili): (5/5) This has a sweeter flavor without the chili. They were cooked very well. They are very good! Super salmon roll: (5/5) Nice and refreshing roll. The salmon was super fresh. It was interesting as there was cucumber and avocado in the roll too! Sun kiss roll: (5/5) 0mg. The first bite I took I blacked out, I was in heaven. Pretty good sushi. Definitely not the best in San Diego but very acceptable and reasonably priced. They have a range of other non sushi items on the menu which are quite good as well. Atmosphere is nice and staff are very friendly. To the person who gave the bad review based on his dog not being allowed I would say, if your dog is a trained Psychiatric Service dog then you should report this incident immediately. If your dog is just an emotional support dog (which is the impression I got from the review) then these type of dogs are not afforded the same rights as trained service dogs and the owner was within his rights to refuse access but he should not have been rude about it. IMO people who try/insist and bring Emotional Support Dogs/Pets into restaurants are doing a disservice to the people who need to be able to enter places with their trained...

Ive been twice, today being the second time. I called to place a to go order and did not because she said it would be a 50 minute wait. Im hungry now.

Disappointing for me because the first time I came to eat here I was going to dine in and they told me it would be a 10 to 15 minute wait so I agreed to wait. After 25 minutes my boyfriend and i decided we would probably be better off just ordering to go because they were going to close in another 15 minutes. Well we told the hostess we just wanted to order to go so they could close on time, and she said well if you want to place a to go order it will be one hour wait!
