Tony's Giant Pizzeria — Restaurant in San Diego

Worst service I've ever experienced and their pizza is mediocre at best. This place literally can't be trusted to complete your order. Stay away.

In response to owner: I'm sorry but I don't believe you one bit. About a year ago we placed an order with you and when I went to pick it up, the order was nowhere to be found. And while I was waiting another person in line was having the same issue - so we took our business elsewhere.

Fast forward a year later and thought we would give you another try...

I called in 8 pizzas for a kids birthday party 2 hours in advance making it very clear that they were to be picked up at 5:30pm. The person who took my order read EVERYTHING back to me, "see you at 5:30." When I show up at 5:30 and say picking up 8 pizzas for "Name" he just looked at me like I was crazy, and the confused scramble began to find our 8 pizzas, which weren't even made (De ja vu), And it was the same person who took my order over the phone because I recognized his voice.

So you basically left us with no food for a kids birthday party. It still infuriates me and your response is a joke because a year later you still managed to have the exact same service you gave...

I've passed by this place several times and I never got pizza here. I was hungry one day and I was in the area running errands. I decided to stop here and get a snack before hiking. They have so many options of pizza toppings. They have dipping dots in one freezer and pints of ice cream in the other freezer. They also have several soda options, and for those who drink they have lots of beer options too. I got a Hawaiian pizza to go and a gourmet root beer. The place was so clean and everyone here was so nice. The service was fast too! I had my pizza in less than 20 minutes! This honestly could be the coolest hang out to go to after work or college classes. After I got my pizza I went out to the car and didn't even make it out of the parking lot. I shared this pizza and we ate it in less than 10 minutes. It was the perfect pizza with the perfect ratio of everything, cheese, sauce, toppings. And it wasn't very greasy at all. I can't wait for the next pizza night so I can go here again soon! It only gives me the option to give 5 stars but I would give them 50 digital stars and 50 sticker stars (a total of 100...

I was BEYOND disappointed!! I am quarantined and was counting on my order to get me some much needed food. I ordered a Chicken Ceasar Salad, and Cheesy Garlic bread. I specifically ordered a Ceasar salad because Romaine lettuce is the lettuce used for a Ceasar salad. The salad I received was apparently someone's lawn clippings.... My dogs enjoyed the chopped chicken that was really greasy found on top of the yard waste. If you needed to make a substitution you had my phone # with my order. I would have passed on the salad! If your employees don't know the difference in types of lettuce, please educate them. As for the Cheesy non garlic bread.... it had so much butter and no remnants of any garlic flavor... I could only eat a very small piece because it flipped my stomach and instantly caused nausea. Again my dogs enjoyed the cheese. So if you like to spend $30 for your dogs to have a snack then I guess this is your place. As for me.... I will not be a...
