I’ve never written a Google review because I’ve never had an experience bad enough to cause me to do so. Until I went to this Wendy’s. I had this experience about 6 months ago and I’m still thinking about it.
My friends and I went on a Sunday night looking for a quick dinner before continuing on with our road trip. In fact, we even decided to forgo In-n-out, despite being the obviously better choice, because we knew it would take too long and we were in a rush (if we only knew…). The Wendy’s was not particularly busy, and there were only 2 people in front of us when we got there. And yet, it still took about 15 minutes before the first person in our party had her order taken. And then another 10 minutes before the next. After we pointed out how long it was taking, the cashier argued with us and made us wait another 5 minutes before reluctantly and rudely taking our order. After about 30 minutes waiting for our order and asking multiple times, we eventually had to resort to standing by the pickup area and hounding the workers to actually get our order. And after all that, they got our order completely wrong! Once again, there was no obvious reason why it should’ve taken this long—there were plenty of staff and very few customers (many of the customers who attempted to patronize this Wendy’s left when their orders weren’t taken after 10 minutes of being the first person in line). I recognize that working at a fast food restaurant is tiring and not necessarily fun, so honestly it takes a lot for me to even point out the fact that it’s taking a long time. It was so obvious they were just standing around doing nothing, which was absolutely infuriating. I don’t expect high quality food or even efficient work, but I also don’t want to have to stand by the counter and repeatedly bother the workers just to get the wrong order 30-45 minutes later. What we learned from this experience is what we should’ve known all along: ALWAYS GO...
Read moreDISGUSTING!!!! Got the $5 Crispy Chicken BLT Bag Deal. It was said to be a to go order but it was put on a tray. So when he was bagging it I asked him if the frys & nuggets were hot & he assured me they were. So when he handed me the bag I immediately felt the temp of fries & nuggets. If I had walked to my car they would've been completely cold. I told him to feel that they were barely warm. So instead of being honest before handing it to me he instead started to tell me..I.. well if you leave them out they're gonna get cold. Like 15 secs was enuf time for food to go from HOT to Barely Warm like it was my fault. Then took the food to reheat with attitude. Then got to my car to eat the food & the chicken sandwich looked really disgusting. They put 1/2 melted cheese on it which I did not ask for & the chicken was this flat rubbery looking thing that will now be given to a homeless person. Dr Pepper had no flavor. The best thing I got was the small chocolate frosty. All I know is if I get sick tonight It'll be caused by this location....
Read moreI love Wendy's so this is truly disappointing. We ordered through the app, paid in the app and waited outside for 20 minutes after the app told us that our order was ready for pickup. No one came to the door or anywhere. After a while I decided to knock on the drive-thru window to ask what was going on with our order. I have never met someone so rude in the service industry. Supposedly our order had been released 20 minutes ago. But we were waiting in front for half an hour, so that couldn't be true. I had the receipt right there on my phone. When I asked that they just make my order now, the employee told me "That's not my problem, you'll have to try to get a refund" and closed the window. I am upset and disappointed, because I'm still hungry, but I also can't get a refund, because their phone lines only operate Monday thru Friday. This place is such an unbelievable joke. Can only recommend to stay away and take your business down the road to Rocky's or somewhere where they actually give a crop about their...
