Hello!!! The lady who works here or may be the owner is just kind and polite to the customers!!! I graduated from university on gastronomy and cold chain food logistics in my own country, but I am currently working in package distribution here. When I examined the contents of the products I bought from here, I observed that they put the hot and hot products into the plastic bag with the same paper without using any insulation materials, and I wanted to warn them in the gentlest way that they packaged them in the same careless manner in order to provide a better experience to their customers. However, every time I go to this store, this woman does not tell me anything other than insisting that I confirm the purchase of the package!!!

I understand you, but you are a very rude person who belittles your business partner and tells her with a sarcastic and prejudiced and racist attitude that she cannot teach her her job, so your valued customers will give you your answer in time !!!

I will continue to deliver your products by maintaining hot-cold chain standards as much as I can, but since I can more or less guess what might happen in the back of your kitchen, I will never recommend you to myself or anyone I know, because you are uninformed and ignorant about food processing and preparation! !!

A product that is 0 degrees or below and a hot product that has just been packaged should not be placed together. The oils of the product will freeze quickly and you may not even know how far this package will carry! But you continue to think that you are at the top of the Himalayas, right next to the beach in San Diego, and continue to satisfy your ego with refugees,...

Another day, another açaí bowl! This time we checked out Ocean Cafe. It was actually recommended by a friend that used to live in the area and told us that it was super legit and that they were probably the best açaí bowl place in San Diego. We wanted to see what he was talking about!

Obviously we got açaí bowls, but there were so many other things on the menu that seemed amazing like their sandwiches, and their shakes and smoothies!

Now onto the açaí bowls themselves... FANTASTIC! Every component was super fresh, and it amazed me on how fresh, and "real" the açaí was! Even the fruit were super juicy and sweet. However, I do prefer my açaí as more of a sorbet or frozen yogurt, and nice and cold. But at this place, the açaí had more of a melted ice cream consistency which was at room temp. Don't get me wrong, it was super tasty and refreshing, but I do prefer it when the açaí is colder and more of a sorbet consistency.

Another thing to add on was that the fruit felt somewhat warm, like it was at room temperature, and the granola wasn't too crunchy, it had more of a lighter and softer texture.

Overall, everything was really good, the staff were super nice and pleasant, and I was pretty satisfied. In the end, I just love açaí bowls... probably as much as I...

The cashier had a bad attitude the moment I ordered with her, and just overall poor customer service to me. I immediately saw her energy and attitude change with other customers right after I ordered. I instantly felt uncomfortable in this place. When I or my friend didn't understand something she had an extremely condescending tone. I was not outwardly upset until they messed up my drink size, in which when I told her all she did was angrily grab it and roll her eyes. Only then did she turn around and begrudgingly apologize for the mess up. Another girl brought out the drink, but all they did was give me more ice when they should have remade it without asking. I would have been willing to wait; and then when she realized she made a mistake and charged me for the wrong size she just asked me if I still wanted her to make me a new drink because she obviously didn't want to. I absolutely would have been willing to pay for the difference for cup size but her attitude rubbed me the wrong way, so all I wanted to do was get...

Mannnn. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. Unfortunately Ocean Cafe didn't live up to the ratings. Sunday morning IS NOT the time to come enjoy breakfast or a morning drink. The GOOD: The acai bowls and croissants were top notch. The food was good. The BAD... We waiting almost 30 minutes for our food and drinks. Granted the 2 women working we're completely in the weeds. But the group that ordered after us received their food before us, they forgot our matcha and coffee cake. The place was full and only 2 employees could not keep up. They would take orders before making coffee for those that had already been waiting. Not a great experience unfortunately. Maybe coming here on a weekday or slow time, or just hire more staff. A word to the owners, stop doing door dash, UberEATS, etc. And focus on the customers that choose to drive or walk to your business. Your business is struggling to keep up already
