I love this joint. Even in a pandemic we all need pie and ale. Woodstocks Pizza in the College Area remains a fun destination for anyone looking to satisfy hunger and thirst in a funky family neighborhood setting. If you've ever chowed down on wings, pizza and beer while watching sports in a garage, you're ready for fine dining at Woodstocks. Once herd immunity kicks in we'll return to the "before times" when little league teams, SDSU basketball fanatics, delusional Chargers chumps, rugrats, entitled moms, sports geeks, and lovers of ale and conversation packed this neighborhood temple to hearty eats and chillaxation. Outside dining is all the rage while we wait to be vaccinated. You can mow wings and slices on the front and back patios under toasty heaters, while enduring our bitter San Diego winter. Warm your bones with quality elixirs from a dozen taps decanting fantastic fermentation from local breweries. This is a special place of worship for those who understand tasty IPA's. And there's no shortage of big-ass flatscreens. Woodstocks Pizza features fresh ingredients with a spicy red sauce on a medium crust. But you'd be plumb loco passing on the chance to order a custom pie. I like to start with a thin crust featuring pesto sauce and roasted garlic, because there's no such thing as too much garlic or too much basil. The menu is limited only by your imagination. The big salads are massive, super fresh, delicious, and easily feed a couple ravenous herbivores. I love the Greek salad with pesto/ranch dressing. It's a serious colon cleanser, and a frakken bargain for so much veg. Seriously, I come here for the killer salads and satisfying local brewskies. During moments of weakness I feast on spicy BBQ wings. Yes, Covid absolutely sucks. We're all making sacrifices. And when you emerge from your hidey-hole in search of grub and drink, Woodstocks offers an anticeptic, warm, and friendly place to loosen your belt. I've never been a barfly or regular at any establishment until I discovered this glorified mancave. I arrive with my laptop and hop on the free wifi, order a salad, then contemplate the virtures of a West Coast, Mosaic, or double IPA. Just sayin', there are worse ways to get right and kill an afternoon during the plague.

Warning for those who look for actual pizza!! Decently clean place, Ingredients look and seem to be fresh.. that’s about it. Probably one of the worst “pizzas” I had.. sorry but that is not a pizza.. soggy, super thick crust outside and the inside can’t hold/stand the pizza test (people who know pizza will know what I mean). Came here looking at the reviews.. I guess people here don’t know how pizza is supposed to be 🤷‍♂️ Surely overpriced for what it is 🤣 I don’t mind paying, but quality has to be on par with what you ask for.

I hadn't been here for years and stopped in with the wife for a pint or twelve (we had a hotel nearby). As soon as I walk in I feel that same old magic. The nearby ravings and rantings of a partially drunken freshmen coming off a win... the air is good in here. The manager knows craft beer very well and has a good variety on tap, especially if you get down with IPAs. Didnt get to eat last time. But if you #$%^ with pork the kicking Carnitas Pizza is actual crack.

Food is great, a bit pricey but good tasting pizza. The reason for my one star review is their abysmal service. When I order delivery my sauces are always missing, I pay for these sauces they aren’t free. So one day I decide to call and let them know to ensure my sauces are included. The girl completely rude attitude tells me that if anything is missing it’s not their fault and it’s the drivers. Yet fails to give me a reason why I should blame the drivers for missing sauce that I paid for. I didn’t call for an explanation on why my sauce is missing I just wanted someone to make sure I get the sauce I paid for. She hurry’s me off the phone and tells me she’ll make sure the driver gets the sauces. Order arrives, ask the driver if the sauce is included , the driver looks at me confused and says I’m if it is it should be inside the box. The sauces were not included. So I decide to give them a call back, and the same girl answered. I never yelled, maybe sounded a bit frustrated when I realized I was talking to the same person. Let her know the sauces were not included, she immediately responds with “I will not let someone talk to me this way” and hands the phone off to her associate. Her associate was kind and apologized, and said the person I was speaking with was actually a manager. To be treated like that from a manager is not acceptable. They lost me as a customer, I will not be ordering from this restaurant any longer. Learn to assist drivers and making sure there orders are delivered correctly, it isn’t the Uber drivers job to make sure everything is included when you hand them the food and walk away. Also hire managers that aren’t rude to their customers on...

After reading all those user reviews, I was excited to share my own incredible experience at this San Diego pizza restaurant. The moment I stepped in, I couldn't help but feel the warm and friendly atmosphere. The attentive and helpful staff made me feel special from the get-go and provided outstanding service throughout the evening, accommodating all our pizza needs.

Now let's talk about the star of the show – the pizza! Oh my goodness, it was a burst of flavors and cooked to perfection. Each mouthful was pure bliss. What really sets this place apart is their unique pizza crust. They cleverly fold it over, trapping in extra sauce and giving it an unexpected but delightful kick. Absolutely genius!

And let's not forget the delicious selection of beers on tap. It provided the perfect pairing as my friends and I had great conversations and enjoyed the chilled ambiance. Trivia nights added to the fun and even my second grader impressed everyone with a correct answer!

This restaurant truly exceeded all my expectations and has earned its rightful place as my go-to spot for amazing pizza. Whether dine-in or delivery, they always deliver a first-class experience. Oh, and did I mention the excellent location right in the heart of San Diego? Talk about convenience!

I highly recommend this place to anyone craving a delightful pizza experience in San Diego. And don't forget to try their salad, it looked great too! So, gather your friends, bring your family, and head over for a...
