Yummy Yummy Juice Bar — Restaurant in San Diego

Came in with my brother this morning to get 2 smoothies, the young girl that was working the shop alone was very rude and sarcastic. I ordered a mango/pineapple smoothie large with orange juice. She was huffing and puffing as if we were a problem wanting to spend money at the store.. made me repeat my order 3 times then after checking me out began to walk away then looked back and said to my brother did you want a smoothie too? He responded yes and she said I thought you guys were together… as if we were gonna share one smoothie together.. he then asked for a strawberry banana smoothie with orange juice, she laughed at him and responded really you want a strawberry banana with orange juice? As if it was an odd choice… we let her know that he is highly allergic to dairy and can only have juice she continued to laugh at him.. we got our smoothies both were not blended full of ice chips and what appeared to be small cut up green leaves all within both smoothies. Very disappointing customer service and quality of drinks. I would highly recommend you go somewhere else that is more welcoming,...

I don’t live in this area, but I’m saving it to COME BACK!!! I showed up 10 mins before closing and they happily welcomed me in and served me. They even offered me a little snack of watermelon with tajin and chamoy😭 Spanish is my second language and I started speaking it to them and they were both so kind and had a whole conversation with me. I loved it! People usually switch back to English when they realize I’m not perfectly fluent and it was nice that they didn’t. I definitely felt welcomed and loved, which is so rare for restaurants and smoothie joints :’)

Also, let’s not forget how BOMB the food is!!! I got two smoothies and a torta and chefs kiss tan rico!!!😍🥰💖

Grateful I found this lil gem in San Diego!...

Fresh cut fruit smoothie, and the large was like the size of a "Trenta" or larger from starbucks! On top of that the ladies were so kind and made me and my family complimentary fruit sides. One had watermelon and strawberries w/ honey and coconut shavings and raisins, the second had watermelon and mango with tajin. Both were refreshing and filling for a small size. The atmosphere was laid back/fresh and clean. I'll be back if I'm in the neighborhood...
