I came here maybe two or three weeks after their grand opening? I liked their mung bean milk tea that I had in Cupertino. So when I learned they opened a new location next to H Mart SF I was very thrilled. However it was kind of disappointing especially their macarons.
When I first went in, I was confused because the sign at the line said mobile pick up with the QR code, so I downloaded the app. But because this location was new, it didn't offer that option yet. Second thing I noticed was that the store was super "hot", I don't know if they forgot to turn on the AC or the air vent.
Service, the cashier didn't seem that friendly or welcoming. I asked her if they take tips because the POS didn't ask me to add tips, but she didn't answer my question. Then I looked down and there's a tip "hole" in the counter. Anyway, I didn't have cash. The guy who served out orders was more friendly but he gave me the wrong thing but maybe that was the kitchen's fault. He let me kept it tho 6.5/10
Macarons, I had very high expectations but what a disappointment 😔. I ordered 6 flavors so they were packed in a box. I ordered every flavors except the chocolate and vanilla. Before I leave, I checked the box, good thing I did because they gave me vanilla instead of the earl grey. However I wish they didn't serve me the earl grey at all!!! I don't know if it wasn't defrosted properly or something but it was just a mushed up biscuit. It was so flaky and disgusting that it was even worse than the worst macaron I ever had. One of the flavors was very hard which means it's not fresh 4/10, the earl grey itself is 0/10 IF ITS NOT READY THEN DON'T SERVE IT TO YOUR CUSTOMER!
Drinks: -Thai ice tea not the best I had but not bad, in the photo it wasn't mixed but it was served mixed to me 7/10 -Sea cream jasmine tea was great, I just wished they do offer a no sugar option 7.5/10 Strawberry hibiscus, just ordinary 7/10
Overall, this location left me a not so good first impression, untill they improve, I'll go to other locations instead even if they're...
Read moreI recently visited 7 leaves cafe on Alemany Blvd San Francisco, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The place had a perfect blend of liveliness and tranquility. The coffee shop was impeccably clean, and the subtle aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, adding to the charm. The service was top-notch. The baristas were not only friendly and welcoming but also very knowledgeable about their offerings. One of them took the time to recommend a few specialty drinks based on my preferences and even shared some interesting details about their coffee beans sourced from small farms around the world. I decided to try their signature House Coffee The Cafe Sua Da and it was a revelation—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. I saw a lot of people were ordering their Vietnamese Coffee, Strawberry Hibiscus Tea , Mung bean tea and Taro Milk Tea and were raving about it. Can’t wait to try all these flavors. If I had to mention a minor drawback, it would be the limited indoor seating during peak hours. In summary, 7 Leaves Cafe is a fantastic spot for coffee and tea enthusiasts and anyone looking for a cozy place to relax. The friendly staff, and pleasant ambiance make it a standout choice. I highly recommend giving it a visit—you won’t be disappointed! I’ll definitely be...
Read moreCame on Mother’s Day around 5:30pm and it was quite busy. The last time I had 7 Leaves was probably back in 2019 lol. I was craving the Mung Bean Milk Tea so I was willing to wait in line. Ordered a large mung bean milk tea regular sweet ($5.45 + $0.85 upsized) and a mix between mung bean and sea salt cream jasmine tea regular sweetness ($5.45 + $0.85 upsized). I don’t remember the drinks being this sweet. I would probably get 50% sweet or easy sweet next time. The mung bean milk tea was pretty good. I wouldn’t get the mixed drink again. It didn’t really have a jasmine tea taste. I also wanted to order honey boba but they ran out. :(
Overall satisfied with my drink and service. The girl in the front taking orders that day was super nice and understanding! Still pretty stoked to have a 7 leaves in the city now. Will definitely be back for their house coffee once the line dies down. I probably waited about 15-20 mins to order and maybe 2 mins to get my drink so it wasn’t too bad. But once they have their online ordering system set up, I’m sure the lines wouldn’t be as long. Something to know though, they open at 10:30am during soft opening even though it says 10am. Grand opening should be on May 18 at 10am.
