AP’S CAFE — Restaurant in San Francisco

I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 4 years but for some reason never came in here, I’m so upset I didn’t try them sooner!! These hand pies and empanadas are SO GOOD! The staff was very friendly. You get your money’s worth of filling, and crust is lovely. Holds everything together so you truly can eat with your hands. We got the chicken curry and the chicken and potato “pot pie” style. Next time, I’m going to buy so many extra and save them so I can reheat for later. I’m writing this review a week late because I was craving them, but am sad to see they are closed on Sundays.
