my boyfriend and i came here on a whim and it was the best decision. husband and wife owned and run, they were the sweetest and incredibly knowledgeable about wine. they offered us free tastings, free popcorn, and candied hazelnuts based on our wine pickings. they also have 50% of their featured wine bottles and 40% on their non-featured wine bottles (to-go only.) delicious wines and great hospitality. go!!

Really cute place in west portal! I enjoyed the bottle of white. Loved the intimate ambiance and the owner was pleasant and attentive. It was packed sat night. Wish they add more items to their small plates and perhaps play some soft music track.

I want a permanent spot at the bar here. Wine, service and vibe are all fantastic. Really great selection and our server did an excellent job of recommending wines that I might not have tried otherwise but ended up really enjoying.

Fantastic all round. The wine list has a wonderful selection of Italian wines with a smattering of other countries. Take a chance and ask for a recommendation and you will undoubtedly find a new favourite. There's a good selection of small plates, meats, cheeses and seafood, all at very fair prices. Best of all, Lorella and Massimo are the consumate hosts who will feel like family (the ones you really like, that is) after your first visit. The space itself is warm and welcoming and I loved the vines above...
