I had high hopes for this breakfast spot and the concept of boards intrigued me. but unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. My husband and I visited on a Sunday morning, and from the moment we were seated, things felt rushed and unwelcoming. The waiter brought the menus and immediately asked for our drink orders, which seemed odd since it was our first time there, and we hadn't even had a chance to glance at the beverage options. Despite requesting a few minutes to look over the menu, the waiter returned within two minutes, pressuring us to order both drinks and food. When I inquired whether the boards included drinks, I was informed that the main board did not. The cappuccino and latte had great coffee, but were served in small cups despite the high prices. You can find the same quality coffee in North Beach for almost half the price. The lack of flexibility in accommodating dietary needs or preferences was a significant letdown. They have a few dishes for vegetarian but nothing for vegan. Unless you have no allergies, dietary restrictions, or specific requests, you might find the experience frustrating. My husband enjoyed his pancakes, and the real maple syrup was a nice touch, but I was left with limited options. I couldn't order an omelet without cheese or substitute the potatoes and toast on the side for a salad. The only viable option for me was a fruit salad and it was an embarrassingly small portion that could barely justify being called a side, and overpriced at $10. The rushed atmosphere became even worse when the waiter quickly cleared our table and brought the bill before my husband could finish his last bite. There wasn't even a line or customers waiting, so it felt completely unjustified. We felt unwelcome and unable to enjoy our conversation, as we were basically pushed to leave right after taking that final bite. It was strange to see a waiter standing on the sidewalk, seemingly trying to bring tourists in, instead of providing good service to the customers already inside. While the concept and menu held promise, the overall experience left much to be desired. The rushed ambiance, inflexibility with dietary requests, and a perceived emphasis on maximizing turnover overshadowed any potential appeal. In contrast, the neighboring diner, at the next door, called "8 am", provided a far more enjoyable experience with attentive and friendly staff, delicious food, and reasonable prices. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this breakfast spot, as the lack of hospitality and accommodating service marred what could have been a pleasant...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey have great choices for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Somehow they made eggs bacon and pancakes fabulously! The orange juice is freshly squeezed! The mimosas were really good. If you're a small eater like I am, sharing the breakfast board which comes with pancakes or french toast or waffles, with eggs and bacon is there a good idea. It was definitely enough for me and my sister to share. The employees are very kind and attentive. It is a small place so you may want to get there sometime after 9:00 a.m. when it opens, otherwise you will have to wait. There are a few tables outside and on a lovely day it would be great. It was just too cold for us the days that we went. I will say it is a little pricey, it's not a daily affair, but it is worth it. The environment is peaceful and it flows well. You don't have to speak loudly or have a hard time hearing your...

Came here on a Sunday afternoon for a quick girl's catch up over brunch. There's metered parking in front and neighborhood parking further out. I would definitely not skimp on parking, a meter maid was lurking in the corner when I arrived. No wait time, ambiance was chill and trendy. Staff was friendly and checked in on our table multiple times.
For something sweet we got the Berries French Toast accompanied with berry butter, mascaprone and whipped cream. The toast itself is two pieces of soft bread with fresh berries.
The Shasuka is a good option for savory, has mild spice. I got the breakfast burrito which was had a good ratio of each...
