We visited this beautiful, historic Site in early June. The views were absolutely terrific, but there were a few cars going down the hill that played their music very loudly, just seeking attention, and trying to get people to look at them. Overall, the landscape was absolute Perfection. It is a wonder that the residents on the hell maintain this beautiful scenery. We did see a tourist group going down the hill on their rented Segways, which did slow the process of other vehicles and people proceeding down the hill. The flowers planted along the way were absolutely stunning and perfect for the site. The walk, both up and down the hill, was not overly tiring or difficult. It was rather steep, so just keep that in mind. The windiest street in the world made for a fun walk, both up and down the hill. There were absolutely gorgeous views of the bay as well. Watching the people crossing at the bottom of the street, as well as the cars and people slash tourists descending the hill made for a very interesting event, and was well worth the people watching alone. We did get an Uber to the top of the hill, from our hotel, the palace, and it was well worth it. We did walk down the hill, and it was slightly steep, so be sure to watch your step. This is one of these sites and San Francisco that is an absolute must-see, no matter how far the walk or drive is. I would absolutely recommend the site for anybody that is a tourist, or even a resident that has not been able to wait...
