First the employees were so nice and friendly everyone smiled and welcomed my wife and I. The whole building was alive and the sound of people just happy to find a place to be amazed by all thing going on. You walk in and look up you see bread flying by on its own rail system. Then you see a store where you can buy some of the best breads anywhere. Or even bread animals.and other things for gifts or your own guilty pleasure. When you walk up stairs more smiling faces that welcome you if you look over to the side you see a museum of how this awesome bread is made there's even stuff for little kids and us big kids to play with and learn about the bread making proses. then as if it's not enough you round a corner and look down and there are all the machine's pumping out this bread and all the people behind the magic. When we exited the museum we were back at the smiling staff. We asked for a table after all we saw we had to eat something. Now just pryer to stopping in. my wife Bonny and I were in China town and walked out. of too restaurants. Both of them the z&y and the r&g both highly recommend by locals. There was zero hospitality the tea was throne on the table at the r & g after almost 10min. Bonny and I walked out. So earlier we walked by the z & y so there we go we were seated given tea and nothing the waitress was talking to the staff and to other people but walked by us like we we're invisible. After almost 10min more of wasted time we headed over to pier 43 1/2 where we found boudin's . Now Bonny and I are seated and this waiter comes up with a smile and is attentive and apologized for what happen in China town. He then takes care of everything he was on it not just us the people around us too he is a professional at his job. Bonny and I will never forget boudin's and the fantastic staff. Thank you boundi's for making our vacation...

If you're visiting San Francisco, a trip to Boudin Bakery is an absolute must! This bakery has been a San Francisco institution for over 150 years, and it's easy to see why. From the moment you walk in, you'll be greeted with the warm, comforting aroma of freshly baked bread, and the sight of the bakers hard at work creating their famous sourdough loaves.

The history of this place is truly fascinating. Boudin Bakery has been in business since 1849, and they're credited with creating the original San Francisco sourdough bread. It's amazing to think that the recipe and techniques used by the bakers today are the same ones that have been passed down through generations.

Of course, the real star of the show here is the bread. The sourdough is tangy, chewy, and perfectly crusty, with a texture that's unlike any other bread I've tried. But don't just stop at the bread - Boudin Bakery also serves up some delicious sandwiches and pastries that are definitely worth trying. I particularly enjoyed the clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl - it's the perfect comfort food on a chilly San Francisco day.

The atmosphere of the bakery is great too - it's a bustling, lively place that's always packed with locals and tourists alike. You can even watch the bakers at work through the large windows that overlook the kitchen.

Overall, I can't recommend Boudin Bakery enough. It's a true San Francisco gem that's not...

During a recent visit to San Francisco, I had the pleasure of dining at Bistro Boudin, located in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf. This restaurant offers a delightful blend of traditional flavors, exceptional service, and breathtaking views.

Clam Chowder in a Sourdough Bowl A must-try at Bistro Boudin is their iconic clam chowder served in a freshly baked sourdough bread bowl. The chowder is rich and creamy, brimming with tender clams and hearty vegetables. The sourdough bread adds a delightful tang and texture, making each bite a comforting experience.

Impeccable Service The staff at Bistro Boudin are attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Even during peak hours, they manage to provide prompt service without compromising on quality.

Stunning Ambiance and Views The restaurant boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, with dark wood accents and large windows that offer panoramic views of the bay. Guests can enjoy vistas of Alcatraz Island and the bustling waterfront, especially enchanting during sunset.

Conclusion Bistro Boudin stands out as a quintessential San Francisco dining destination. Whether you're a local or a visitor, it's a place where tradition meets excellence. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic flavors and...

Visiting Boudin Bakery at Fisherman's Wharf for their classic clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl is a true San Francisco experience. I'm not kidding when I say this dish is special. It's one of their specialties for a reason - the clam chowder is delicious and served perfectly in the fresh sourdough. There’s something incredibly calm and peaceful about sitting there and enjoying the meal while looking out at the view. Even if it's your first time trying it, like it was for me, I can't recommend this dish enough. For a simple, cozy, and deeply satisfying meal that feels iconic to the city, this is a must-try for everyone.

Our dining experience at Boudin Bistro over two consecutive nights was nothing short of a culinary delight. The restaurant's commitment to delivering delicious dishes left a lasting impression on our taste buds. The star of our meal was undoubtedly the clam chowder served in a bread bowl—a classic choice that showcased the restaurant's dedication to quality ingredients and rich flavors. The crab entree with artichoke and spinach was a symphony of seafood excellence, demonstrating a perfect blend of textures and tastes. The club sandwich, featuring succulent salmon and creamy avocado, was a revelation in flavor combinations. Each bite was a satisfying journey through layers of freshness and indulgence. The attention to detail in crafting this dish was evident, making it a standout on the menu. Beyond the delectable cuisine, the ambiance and service at Boudin Bistro complemented our dining experience. The staff's attentiveness added to the overall enjoyment, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhanced our evenings. In conclusion, Boudin Bistro proved to be a haven for food enthusiasts seeking a diverse and satisfying menu. If you're in search of a memorable culinary adventure in a welcoming setting, this restaurant is a must-visit.
