A relatively affordable place at Fisherman’s wharf in SF. A cheaper alternative to the more pricey sit down restaurants populating this area. This stand and eat stall is run by some really friendly Chinese folks who definitely know seafood well.
We got the crab sandwich which was a creamy sauce of crab and Mayo in a hotdog bun - really hit the spot, especially when we added some hot sauce. Also got the fish and chips - I think for the price we should have got more fish and chips- but taste wise it was ok. The fish fillet was really thin.
We wanted to get the crab chowder in the sourdough bun but unfortunately they told is that they add pork to the chowder and so we decided not to. So while this place has some halal options, definitely make sure to ask. Dont assume its all halal because its seafood.
Since they don’t have seating, feel free to take your food closer to the water - but beware of the seagulls who are know for snatching food out of peoples hands.
One note about parking - its really expensive in the area so avoid getting a car and take public transport. If that’s not possible, try to hunt for cheap public parking garages which would be a bit of walk away...
Read moreRather to please. We ordered a boatload of food. One crab, one lobster roll, 4-piece raw oysters, 6 piece fried oysters w/fries. One of the raw oysters in our ordered smelled bad, we brought it up, they seemed remorseful, apologized profusely, and insisted on 4 more raw oysters, on them. After a few minutes, we changed our mind and asked them to get them. They said, no problem. They brought out 6 fried oyster! On the house! Their seasoned curly fries are excellent. After all that food for 2 people, we swing by on the way back to our hotel, we got another order of their succulent fried oysters. They're juicy and have an effervescent quality to them. We asked for the order with out fries that normally come with them. They doubled the oysters! Love these guys! They're a...

High price for so little lobster.
I ordered the lobster roll sandwich. It came with small pieces of lobster sprinkled over large scoops of shredded crab. I ordered a lobster sandwich, not lobster topping over crab. It was fresh but with way too small bits (small pieces, like leftovers) of lobster especially for a $33 price tag. We won't be going back. Look at the picture, the white bottom is crab, which is most of the sandwich, covered with lobster on top. It's hard to tell, but it's mostly crab. Also, the roll was pre-made, handed it to me right when I ordered. It needs butter, it was very dry. They give you a sauce but it doesn't...
