One Thursday evening at the beginning of April 2019 I arrived at 9:30 to order some pasta and the gigantic sweaty fat man who was sitting at the bar surrounded by Paper Tickets looked over at me when I asked if they were still serving food and he grunted No! we are not serving any more food. We are closed it states clearly that Bravo closes at 10pm. It was Thursday night I didn't think that it was going to be a big deal to come in at 9:30. But I was unpleasantly surprised that it was a big deal to come in at 9:30 p.m. so a patron came outside when I was standing there wondering where I could else I could go and he told me to go to Roma Pizza. When I walked into Roma Pizza which is only one block down the street the owner who was in there greeted me with a big smile and I asked him if they were still serving he said yes here's a menu have a seat right here and let me know when you're ready to order. I was so pleasantly surprised at the welcoming experience that I had at Roma pizza and so disgusted with the fat man at Bravo Pizza. I drove 11 hours from San Diego to San Francisco that day the traffic was a nightmare and I just wanted to eat some pasta and go to bed. So I got it from Roma and I also got a burger for someone and it was the most amazing Burger I've ever seen at a pizza place. So if you're ever in the mood for a really amazing cheeseburger go to Roma pizza if you're in the mood for some great pasta go to Roma pizza. If you're in the mood for someone who treats you with respect and appreciation for your business go to Roma Pizza. If you want a big fat jerk that sweats on top of your food and Grunts and growls at you when you walk in the door then...
Read moreFirst off I have to say the Pizza is outstanding I have to give it 5 stars best dough I taste it on a pizza and the thickness of the pizza is awesome. But the service is horrible. Especially the phone service. Their phone is always busy I literally feel like you hear the busy sound before the call even goes through. That you have to put on management, bad managing. I could only imagine how many potential customers and sales they miss out on a night. When you eat there the restaurant looks run down. It's been like that since I could remember. And I grew up on Bravos Pizza. You would think they would invest in remodeling their establishment. But again don't get me wrong Bravos Pizza is the bomb! But good luck trying to order some unless you walk in. Because if you call and by some miracle you do manage to get through before you know it you're already on hold....
Read moreBeen going there for years, parking is hard to find, it and it's other Pizza Parlor were voted #1 and 2 in San Francisco years in a row. It's a Mom and Pops place opened by Pete and his wife and you get more then you pay for. The prices are very moderate to low in price and anything you order is exceptional in taste. The size of there medium Pizza Pie is relatively the size of any normal large anywhere else, so try to imagine there Large to extra Large. They make home made soup with is fabulous along with other meals. The size of there hamburgers are served on a home made sliced French sourdough that can be cut 4 ways to feed two people and the burger exceeds the perimeters of the bread. The prices are great for people on low budgets and the taste is out of this world. They do serve beer and wine and do have food to go either by pick up...
