Elements Bar & Lounge — Restaurant in San Francisco

Came in here for a drink and some light bites before a show at The Golden Gate Theater. I made reservations for 5:30PM, arrived at 5:10 or so, however when I walked in the man at the door near the pastry shop was extremely helpful! Greeted me, told me how to get to the Bar and Lounge. When I went up, the atmosphere of the place is beautiful. I guess they were having an event so none of the waiters or hosts greeted me, but they did have a sign saying "Please go to bar to be seated" so that's what I did.

Sat continuously with no help, there were maybe 4-5 waiters wandering helping other folks. The customer service was horrible, I was going to leave until my second party got there. We ended up ordering, mediocre food, even worse service. We were not attended to and had to get up multiple times to even pay the check. Will not be returning. Not sure if it's because I am a woman of color, it seems like other women of color have left bad reviews about customer service because they were ON TOP of serving and assisting other customers who were white....

We were absolutely delighted to discover this hidden treasure within ONE65 on the 4th floor! The service was fantastic, with friendly, helpful bartenders and servers. The mixed drinks each were delicious with combinations we had never experienced! Just the right amount of added liqueurs, Brut, or herbs to enhance and impress. The Bar Bites were out of this world. The Crispy Mushroom and Cheese Tarte (not positive about the name) was amazing. The crust was so light and crispy with just the right amount of topping. My mouth waters just remembering it. The oysters with the incredible mignonette during Happy Hour are the best bargain you will find in San Francisco. They were clearly fresh with a delicate flavor profile. Yum! We ended up ordering several Bar Bites, which deliciously checked the box for dinner that day! The atmosphere is very comfortable, welcoming, and peaceful--a great place for a private conversation and feeling of getting away from the hustle of the City. I highly recommend...

I would like to start by giving a huge shout out to Jess and the rest of the lovely staff in the bar and lounge. They are all just amazing! About 4 days ago myself and three of my closest friends decided to head over for happy hour oysters (they are the best) and a few other small bites. From the moment we sat down we were given the best service. Everyone checked in on us regularly and made sure we were happy with everything. We each ordered different drinks from their menu and they did not disappoint. Not only were they delicious but they were visually just gorgeous! The atmosphere is also something to note. The inside is beautiful and definitely very welcoming. It’s the perfect place to get together with friends or even if you just want to treat yourself.
