Everybody in The City, and any major city around the globe, has their local corner (aka convenience) store. What, you live in The City and don't!?! Go get one already, your missing out on a time honored tradition of every urban city dweller. This is a great "mom -n- pop" convenience store in NOPA. It's run by a Father, George, wife, son Spiroand extended family. These guys rock - their friendly, the place is clean, dog friendly and they have the most random stuff that you wouldn't think a corner store would carry... They have delicious sandwiches for a good price. They have salads, fresh fruit & veggies, cheese meats, dairy, organic items as well as cold and ice cream + frozen goods too and other hot foods too. Don't see something? Ask, it's probably there. If not, let the guys know and they will try to hook you up next time. Ask not what your local corner store can do for you; ask what you can do for your local corner store. Seriously though, support your local business - that's one of the many things that make living in The City great and what life in The City is about!!

Outstanding sandwiches for a measily $13.xx final price incl. tax. The person running the shop is a wonderful person to speak to. While he made my sandwich, many people came in and had entire conversations with him. He knew at least half of them. A real neighborhood feel. And had gun conversations with everyone. It was kind of like a TV show. So: super friendly atmosphere and service. If you're chilling in The Panhandle and want a sandwich or snack, this is an excellent choice.

This Home Service market is truly the heart of the neighborhood. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted with warm smiles and genuine kindness. The owner and employees are exceptionally friendly, always making the effort to get to know you and remember what you like.

There’s a real sense of community here. Their presence gives the neighborhood such a welcoming, familiar feel. Whether I’m popping in for a quick item or just passing by on a walk, seeing them always brightens my day. Friendly, reliable, and consistently going above and beyond—this little market is a true treasure in NOPA. We’re so lucky...
