Kama sushi — Restaurant in San Francisco

Always tasty and filling and incredibly quick when you call ahead for pickup. Their rice is particularly good. I’ve been getting takeout here for a few years, and always notice that whatever I get the rice is always perfect.

Today I got chirashi don and was very pleased with the chef’s selection and the generous helping. The rolls are very nice, and katsu don is a favorite in my house too. The only things I haven’t tried are the udon and ramen.

Usually we never have a problem on to go orders but last night we ordered the chicken teriyaki dinner and the mix tempura dinner set. 45 min wait I sat in the restaurant 15 min because I was early, I live 4 blocks away and drove down. Got home both orders were way beyond cold. $55.00 down the drain, sorry Kama you dropped the ball bigtime. Cold Japenese food is terrible and cant be reheated...

The sushi takeout was awful. When I opened the box I noticed it smelled strange. I made my sushi as I normally do, with ginger and wasabi, and that’s when I noticed the smell was coming from the ginger and wasabi. It smells terrible, like mildewy and rancid.
