I've purchased food from their food truck and when I drove by the restaurant one morning, I knew I would need to come back here for lunch that day. Their menu is interesting, they have a limited choice of items, which is not a bad thing. It may contribute that you actually get a large portion of food for a low price. They have two ways you can go, either order a roti wrap or a combo plate. I've purchased the roti wrap from their truck and the combo meal seems really interesting because you can select two main courses from a list of about 9 items (I didn't really count, but there was a reasonable selection). On your combo plate you get lentils, roti, rice, salad, sauces, it's a big plate of food. I don't like lentils so the server subbed out with another roti (she gave me a choice).
How all this works is you start at one end (like those 2 item Chinese places) and pick your dishes. She starts stacking the plate and checking if you want all the sauces and salad. Then you pay at the end, you can order Chai tea when you pay. I got the chicken tikka masala and the Gobi Aloo. My daughter got the chiken tikka masala and kebab (made with ground turkey). I like spicy food, that kebab had one hell of a kick to it.
There's a steady stream of business here. The food is satisfying and quick. We were in and out of there in 20 mins. Parking isn't too horrible...

I ordered delivery for my office of 50 people.. and I did it very short notice on the morning of the day I needed it for lunch. The person I spoke to on the phone (( think Ayen?) was cool as a cucumber when I called panicked with my request. She also then helped me put together the right amount of food and choices. The response was so fast and the founder Anamika also chimed in to wish us well and to answer any questions.
The food:
Our food arrived on time, hot, and DELICIOUS. Also, having a paper with all the items ingredients and allergen/diet restricion info was SO helpful! As a planner for large groups I often find myself having to scramble to write post-its for everything. We had the kati rolls, pakora, and samosas. When my group finished the last session of their entire week of sessions, they were tired and hungry. The looks on their faces were the best. They devoured it all and it was so good. The meats were unbelievably tender. I had to stop myself from eating too many spinach pakora because they are addictive. The samosas were flaky yet moist - yummy dough and comforting inside.
This was the final meal of a week of long days and lots of food and I had a reputation to uphold..lol. I succeeded and this will now be on my regular event food list. Thank you for saving my...
Read moreThis review is for Kasa's catering service. I ordered appetizers, dessert, and of course their amazing chai for my daughter's graduation party. All of the items were delicious. They were packaged so that everything was fresh and not soggy (one item was the spinach pakoras platter). I ordered very generously but still there was not one bite of the appetizer left (unfortunately that meant I had plenty of main entree food leftover as everyone filled up on the amazing appetizers). The founder herself handled my order and when I had a question day of (which was a Saturday) she was very responsive and took care of my question. I'm sad they no longer have an outpost in Redwood City but we'll certainly visit their SF location the next opportunity that we can. Highly recommend them for your catering needs. Portions and quality are very high and the price point is reasonable given the service...
