Ah, what to say about Sit N' Spin? 😂 For the 11 years that I resided in San Francisco, if I didn't feel like using the Laundry Room in my apartment building (and I wanted to cruise cute guys), I'd pack up my laundry in my Jeep and take the five-minute drive from my place in the Lower Haight/Duboce Triangle neighborhood over to Castro (where I ACTUALLY do work until this day) and do my Laundry at Sit & Spin.

❤️'d the Cafe too. Even though I live out in the burbs now, I STILL commute to work in the Castro on Mondays, Wednesdays...

Very nice and knowledgeable staff. They will show you how to work the machines the first time. It is cash only, you put it on a reloadable card that you load here. Very affordable, ($4.75 to wash unless you use the huge load one that’s about $7.50 and then 40¢ for every 7 minuets to dry but it’s a huge dryer which fits about 2 washer loads in 1) it’s nice, clean and you can wait at the cafe. Definitely...

The lady inside was incredibly sweet and helpful.

That said, it is cash only, and you’re required to buy a payment card for 99 cents. I hate to be nitpicky, but this honestly appears to be a money grab and needlessly complicated.

I have so many more convenient suggestions: accept coins directly in the washer; have a coin machine; or include the card when you load it with, like, $20 cash...
