5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the nail technician Wi. She did a fantastic job with my nails and if it wasn’t for her professionalism, I would’ve paid for just a soak off and left the establishment—with no plans to return. My 2 star rating is definitely based on MY experience as a BLACK woman and new customer. The atmosphere is unwelcoming, and the chick at the front desk was overdue for a cursing out. As expensive as the damn service(s) is, I definitely expected better treatment. Imagine, coming from NYC, I can say I had better experiences at local chop shops and never paid $102 just for nails. Ridiculous, but I paid it no mind as I thought “maybe because it’s San Francisco.” But given the condition of the place, they definitely shouldn’t be charging all $20 for acrylic soak off, $15 for simple designs, $60 for a short gel x set, and other miscellaneous charges I’m still confused about. Unfortunately the boss wasn’t present at the establishment, as she just had a baby, but lord—there has to at least be a manager or someone at the front desk because the chick at the front desk has no idea what she’s doing AT ALL. Imagine giving me attitude because I’m asking you to use common sense to provide me with a break down of what I’m paying for. Long story short, if you’re a Black woman and a new customer book elsewhere. We have to stop patronizing establishments that make us feel uncomfortable, unwanted, and disrespected.

Micki puts so much energy and effort into the salon — and she does amazing Gel X extensions as well as nail art! She also compares the opposite fingernails on both hands to make sure they are identical, my girl is meticulous. Pictured is my stunning Gel X French manicure (with the pink glitter dot!) for my sister’s wedding in September. My nails were classic with some sparkle and matched my lehenga perfectly — thanks again so much Micki! I will be back with ideas for some epic holiday nails!

Remarkably friendly and accommodating staff! When my BIAB fill didn’t hold up after 24 hours and I called to discuss repair options, I was immediately scheduled to come in to get the manicure fixed. Every person I spoke with was non-confrontational and put me at ease that correcting my manicure was a priority. Tremendous thanks to Paola for her skill, attention to detail, and professionalism to ensure that I left as a happy and sure-to-return new client.

I really really wanted to like this place. I was so excited to visit this place when they opened, since they started at such a tough time economically due to COVID-19. For context, I get acrylic nails due to severe anxiety which leads to painful nail biting. Acrylics are the only thing that has worked for me. The owner is such a nice woman and I have no qualms with her. The woman who did my acrylics for a couple months; however, was often unresponsive when I spoke with her, uninterested in my nail ideas, and would often get frustrated with my muscle spasms in my hand (from my disability). I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and tried to tip well due to my anxiety and hand tightness. The next time I sent in an appointment request to get my nails filled, no response. I thought nothing of it, and submitted another request a week later. No response again. I’m not sure if this woman just really didn’t like me or didn’t want to deal with me, but I was disheartened. I unfortunately now have to look to get my nails done...

Wow. I've got my nails did many times but this place was off the charts. It's beautiful inside and legit spa like. I was expecting the usual nail technician tables and all that. No! The tools are stored in pretty baskets and there's a nice island where the nail techs care for you. I walked in on a Saturday without a reservation and was the only one there. I added on a brow clean up and got the best brows I've ever had. Really it's all quite impressive. Pricey yes but great attention to detail and very kind and friendly people....
