Newly opened. This chef has some serious skills. He gets wok flavor, and his seasoning is spot on. We ordered chow fun, s/p pork ribs, stir fried yam leaves, chicken salted fish clay pot. Eggplant comes with it, but it’s not listed on menu. We weren’t sure about the eggplant but it was a welcome addition. Salt and pepper chicken wings were weak.
Been there three times now. Kung pao chicken could be spicier but seasoning is great. Our fault ordering mapo dofu here. Wrong part of the country. Read moreJan 9, 2022 - It does look like Ken Kee is closed, but I can’t tell if this is just temporary due to vacation or omicron. The restaurant still has all the menu items up and looks like it always has, so hoping this is just temporary.
The food is fantastic. The black pepper spaghetti and toi dan tze were delicious. You can tell the freshness of the ingredients, and the chicken in the baked chicken was super moist. The wait is a bit long (40 min from seating to eating), but it was well worth it. I'll be making this a regular place.
